3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lightly hazed, bright amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Resinous hop aroma with citrus in the background. Role reversal for the taste; citrus flavors are more prominent with a subtle sweetness beneath the surface. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, carbonation is decent and the lingering aftertaste is dry and bitter.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle best by July 10, 2015.
Glass: Weyerbacher tulip.
Appearance: Crystal clear amber body with a tall and resilient dense light tan head.
Aroma: Oranges and fresh Spring flowers come to mind. Refreshing and light, but enjoyable with a light malt backing.
Taste: Crisp orange with a hint of lemon by the finish, floral and dry with mild to moderate bitterness. Clean malt base with some caramel and sweetness.
Palate: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Clean and easy to drink, doesn’t break any barriers, but it’s a well executed IPA.

3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light yellow Orange apperance slightly hazy. The aroma is a bit skunky, the hop aromatics appear to have deminished into a slight fruity honey sweetness aroma and a slight spicyness. The flavor however didn’t seem to share the slightly unappealing aroma. The flavor is more yeasty then I often would gravitate towards in an ipa. The mouthfeel is medium dry with a medium bitterness not overwhelming. The flavor has soft apricot fruit characters with a low malt backbone. Overall it’s approachable but it’s not making any top list for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy golden orange pour, lots of soapy white head and lots of sticky lacing ..... Aroma of piney, citrusy, floral hops and fruity yeast has an earthyness as well as caramel malts .... Taste is of caramel and toasted malts, with rich earthy flavors, piney and some citrusy fruity hop .... Has a bitter dry hopped bite ..... Finish is dry and bitter that lingers .... Solid balanced IPA. More of a traditional British feel to it

12 ounce bottle. Pours orange gold with a large bubbly white head and nice lacing. Big floral hop aroma with lot’s of citrus, especially grapefruit. Decent caramel malt background. Moderate bitter hop balances nicely. Notes of black pepper and more grapefruit peel. Dry spicy finish. A decent IPA that is very drinkable.

12oz bottle from Xroads. Are you kidding me?? Boulevard just came to NJ this week and this isnthe best IPA they have? Poured golden body with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma and flavor flat out suck for an IPA. Notes of honey topped bread and dust dominate the aroma. Flavor of crackers, grains and dry toast. This is a pitiful IPA, or really old which is pitiful for the brewery to be sending to a brand new market.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Best by stamp reads 7/19/15... More than 6 month shelf-life? Yeah, okay... Clear orange color, with a bigger white head. Good bready malt, grassy hop. A satisfying level of spicy piney resiny hop. Light to moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft kind of crisp lighter carbonation, mildly dry finish. A solid, lighter-bodied IPA... I enjoy the grassy and white-breadiness of it. Pretty easy-drinking. I can’t imagine this tasting good 3 months from now though, never mind 6 months...

Boulevard Single-Wide IPA is a nice drinking example of the style. Moderate hop aroma rising from a orange-yellow pour with a decent head. Taste is distinctly tropical making this beer very thirst-quenching. There is just enough hop bite at the end buy not enough to knock out the tropical flavors. Not real complex, but solid just the same. Single-wide is a good for drinking in the trailer park and other places, too.
