Bottle 750ml. Pours murky red/brown. Light foamy cream colored head. Aroma is suble with vanilla, caramel and yeast. Complex on the tongue, has hints of fruit, caramel and toasted grains. Alcohol is really only noticeable in the aroma, and a slight bite on the palate.

Dec 1, 2008 Lighter amber/orange pour with a tall white head. Much lighter then I was expecting. Lots of fruit sweetness. Citrus, apricots, dry sweetness of fig. Dry finish with a nice carbonation to it that brought out a bit of spiciness.

Dec 1, 2008 The pour was dark brown with auburn highlights. A compact off-white head produced some nice lacing. The aroma was malt, raisin, figs and some unchecked alcohol. The flavor was slightly smoky, malt, raisin and alcohol. The mouthfeel was average, carbonation was almost too tight.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottle: Pour is deep hazy amber with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is deep sweet malt with yeast and light caramel. Flavor is smooth with light caramel, raisins, brown sugar, light alcohol, and a hint of hops towards the end. Fairly well blended brew. Pretty fruity and smooth. Alcohol is well hidden.
