3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Black with a tall chocolate milk colored head. Figs, coffee, charred wood and molasses. Taste is sweet but with a boozey, earthy bitterness that comes with the sweetness and outlasts it. Syrupy feel, but a fair amount of carbonation to cut through.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Mycket trevlig. Gillar verkligen Boulevards smokestack series.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours almost black with a tan head that settles to a film. Aroma is of alcohol and butterscotch with a little bit of toffee and some roastedness. Full bodied and smooth. More balanced to the malt rather than the hops, could use a bit more. Good beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour is deep umber to black with a wonderful tan head.
Aroma is rich and layered, espresso, stewed plums, chocolate covered cherry.
Taste is full of dark fruits up front quickly melting into espresso and slightly hoppy bitter finish. Lingering and pleasant bitterness and slightly smoky notes on the long finish.
Palate is rich and luxurious, full mouthfeel with good carbonation, alcohol is in check, does not taste like nearly 10%
Overall a very fine stout, balanced and layered, reveals more with each sip, definitely worth a pour.
