4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
A foamy brown head with an aroma of roasted barley, hops, and a bit of coffee and chocolate. The flavor is complex, with the roasted oat and coffee the strongest, and some chocolate and some sweetness in the aftertaste. The body is also nice, slightly fizzy at first and then very smooth.

Black pour with a tan head that lingers throughout the entire drink, plenty of lacing. Sweet molasses nose with a hint of smoke? Taste is extremely sweet with a very abrupt finish. Heavy bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. A very good stout from boulevard.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black with a big foamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted grain, malts and a little fruity. Flavor is pretty much what the aroma promises, chocolate and fruit, then a woody flavor. It seems a bit lighter bodied than I was expecting. Not too bad.

First beer I’ve had from Boulevard, pretty impressed. Pours dark with a nice rich head. Delicious roasty coffee like flavors, with a hint of warmth from the alcohol. Looking forward to more beers from them.
