3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Pine needles and fruity notes aroma. Flavour is fruity with a slight liqourice note. Softly balanced with a nice fruity and some sweet malt flavours. Fruity and sweet at once without being overly so. Soft finish which reveals a slight note of dryness.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy copper colour, rich head. Intense tropical fruit aroma. Sweet and soft with full body. Malt sweet and intensely hoppy. Lots of mango and salted lychee. Mid bitter finish. Excellent, unusually relaxed double IPA with concentrated flavours and no edges.

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Hazy brown beer. Semi crisp and semi dry palate, a little soft. Rich hops but not really that bitter. Marmalade orange and a little grapefruit. Finishes semi dry. Okay but an uninspiring IPA.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Corked bottle from QFC - Seattle (Ballard)
Cloudy dark amber color; generous creamy head. Nice aroma, very hoppy, yet balanced: bitter oranges, resins; then some malt and some cheesy yeast in the end. Good body strength, yet the mouthfeel is leaner than the average within the style; good flavor, of caramel, toffee, toasted malt, and (positive point) without the chewy malts; it has strong bitterness, with a good share of resins, some bitter oranges. Very long final.
Potent yet well drinkable and balanced. Excellent.
