COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double-Wide I.P.A. uses Columbus and Magnum hops for both bittering and aroma with Chinook hops added in the whirlpool. It is dry hopped with generous amounts of Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops. The resulting beer has a hop forward aroma, redolent of peach and apricot. The assertive flavor bursts with the citrus qualities of blood orange and lemon with a slight caramel malt backbone to balance the intense hop flavor. There is little restraint in the flavor of this beer; it is certainly not for the pedestrian palate.

Hop aroma is very fruity with hints of citrus and pine. Malt is subdued to the tune of a hefty hop profile of pine. Hops are present but aren't overpowering the malt backbone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy amber color with a big 3 finger foamy head. Smells of citrus and piney hops with a nice malt backbone. Nice hops flavor w/o being overpowering. Citrus and pine with light sweet caramel malts.Semi-dry finish. Well balanced. Very drinkable for a double IPA

Pale, orange amber. Persistent head and good lacing. Good American IPA aroma with grape fruit and orange marmelade. Also sweetness and dried fruits. Similar taste, balanced with malt sweetness. Good drinkability.

Very pungent, hoppy smelling IPA. I could smell it while I was pouring it. Great overall aroma - fruity, citrus, a little malty. Love the champagne-style bottle; Iím including that in appearance. One of the darker IPAís I have seen. Beautiful amber color. Giant head of foam that takes forever to go away. Head sticks around for too long in my opinion, the only thing keeping it from a 5 in appearance. Taste is all malt up front, hops only in the aftertaste and even then the hops are not all that strong. A bit metallic as well. Kind of a basic tasting IPA. Palate is fairly thick for the style with good aftertaste, but again the metallic taste comes out there. Perhaps it was just this bottle. Worth drinking, but Iíve had better.

750 ml corked and caged bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy deep orange to amber colour, large off-white head. Delightful sweetish aroma of fruity American hops, notes of oranges. Very hoppy flavour on a solid malty base, notes of oranges again, the bitterness is distinct but not too extreme. A very fine beer!

Citrusy, slightly sweet, nice head. Barely boozy, very smooth, would have liked more hops, fairly mild and smooth all around for a brew of its type. Nice head, heavy malt, really enjoyed the beer, easy to drink.

c/o UncleMike. Thanks again! Aroma - this is a 1st electric wire insulation and citrus. Appearance - nice orange/brown body; liquid is hazy; the head was awesome about 2 1/2" and beige; nice lacing as well Taste - not super bitter, very complex there is a Centennial hop quality, a little effervescent champagne yeast about it. There is a little citrus going on as well. Palate - the body is medium; the texture just barely oily; the carbonation average to lively; the finish almost champagne like

Hazy orange pour with a soapy head. Fruity nose. Flavor is packed with citrus and other fruits hovering over a malty, caramel base. Alcohol is masked really well and it is highly drinkable.

Bottle 0,75l. Pours a clear amber colour with a big foamy head on top with massive lacing. Aroma has citrus, pines, tropical fruits, sweet toffee malts and grapefruit. Taste starts with sweet fruits and toffee malts, then zesty grapes and citrus kick in before bitter pines, hops and floral ending. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
