COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Harvest Dance Wheat Wine is a celebration of John Barleycorn’s cousin wheat, the great staple crop of Middle America. Wheat wines are a somewhat recent stylistic development, akin to barleywines in strength, but brewed with a large portion of wheat malt, which provides a soft mouthfeel to balance the big body of these warming brews. We add a generous helping of Hallertau and Citra hops, and age the beer on both French and American oak, resulting in a beer that opens up with a warming burst of tropical fruit flavors, adding subtle Sauvignon Blanc notes before rounding slowly to a dry, oaky finish. This is a perfect beer for sharing with friends and family as we gather together for the fall and winter holidays. Pairs well with aged cheeses or seasonal squash and pumpkin dishes.

Corked & Caged 750 ml Bottle. Pours a bright golden orange color with plenty of sea foam head and carbonation spirals throughout the glass. Aroma is a blend of apricot, citrus, Belgian yeast and white wine. The taste is similar with plenty of lemon, pineapple, white grape and peach at the start. After that there’s some honey, clove and oak in the finish. Lots of active carbonation and creaminess in the body while the alcohol keeps a low profile. Overall, tastes like a tropical fruit and citrus flavored Belgian Tripel. Not sure why RB categorizes it a Barley Wine.

Bottle - huge foamy head, very carbonated, nice medium gold color, fruity/mildly spicy aroma and flavor, sweet wheat backbone, fairly hopped (more than I expected) dry oaky finish - very good overall, not your typical dark barleywine ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Completely cloudy with a sunburst orange color. Lots of understated fruit on the taste followed by some pepper. Mouth feel is full and fluffy. Overall is one of my favorite wheatwines.

Bomber. Pours a clear caramel color with an amber white, foamy head that dissolves into almost nothing. Aromas of spice, malt, pear, fruit, and light oak. Flavor is spice, malt, fruits, oak, light wheat, and dry warmth on the end. Lingering sweet malt and fruit on the tongue. medium bodied moderate carbonation. Not boozey considering the ABV.

750 mL bottle from Greens - Buford, Atlanta. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a large frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, wheat, caramel, floral hops. The taste is tart fruits, citrus, stone fruits, wheat, caramel, hoppy finish. Medium bodied, just the faintest hint of booze. You gotta let this one warm up quite a bit, but it’s solid.
