COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Harvest Dance Wheat Wine is a celebration of John Barleycorn’s cousin wheat, the great staple crop of Middle America. Wheat wines are a somewhat recent stylistic development, akin to barleywines in strength, but brewed with a large portion of wheat malt, which provides a soft mouthfeel to balance the big body of these warming brews. We add a generous helping of Hallertau and Citra hops, and age the beer on both French and American oak, resulting in a beer that opens up with a warming burst of tropical fruit flavors, adding subtle Sauvignon Blanc notes before rounding slowly to a dry, oaky finish. This is a perfect beer for sharing with friends and family as we gather together for the fall and winter holidays. Pairs well with aged cheeses or seasonal squash and pumpkin dishes.

Bomber. Pours a clear caramel color with an amber white, foamy head that dissolves into almost nothing. Aromas of spice, malt, pear, fruit, and light oak. Flavor is spice, malt, fruits, oak, light wheat, and dry warmth on the end. Lingering sweet malt and fruit on the tongue. medium bodied moderate carbonation. Not boozey considering the ABV.

An excellent beverage. Pours a sediment ridden peach colour. Aromas of sweet honey and lemons. Great sweet malty flavours. Nice dry woody and hoppy finish. Delicious.

750 mL bottle from Greens - Buford, Atlanta. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a large frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, wheat, caramel, floral hops. The taste is tart fruits, citrus, stone fruits, wheat, caramel, hoppy finish. Medium bodied, just the faintest hint of booze. You gotta let this one warm up quite a bit, but it’s solid.

Mind blowing, decadent syrupy bubblegum and bananas explode onto the palate. Carbonation is tongue tingling with a strong presence of apple and orange peel bitterness to round of this smooth finish.

On draught at the Oregon Public House. Clear full golden color. Aroma of sweet caramel candy and malty wheat. Taste is sweet citrus hops, pitted fruit, and dark caramel. For the amount of alcohol present, smooth and easy to drink.

750ml bottle, thanks to Alicia M. for brining this back for me. Shared at Natifest 2013. Mostly clear orange yellow color. Thin off-white head. Couple loose bits of lace. CItrusy, lightly tart taste. Seems like this has gone sour to me, but in a good way. Grainy, citrusy aroma. Smooth, kind of crisp, lightly soft texture. Moderate carbonation. More dry finish. Seems very sour to me for a wheat wine, but I really enjoyed it.

750 ml bottle to taster (thanks DrSilverworm). Looks good for the style; a slightly hazy golden orange with white lacing. Smells spicy and yeasty. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid, but forgettable.

Bomber. Brown pour with decent head but little retention. Nose is sweet with caramel, vanilla, and a hint of orange.. Taste follows the nose with a tad of oxidation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Corvallis Brew Supply. Cloudy medium brown, lots of booziness and maltiness, but very little warming. Excellent.
