COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Harvest Dance Wheat Wine is a celebration of John Barleycorn’s cousin wheat, the great staple crop of Middle America. Wheat wines are a somewhat recent stylistic development, akin to barleywines in strength, but brewed with a large portion of wheat malt, which provides a soft mouthfeel to balance the big body of these warming brews. We add a generous helping of Hallertau and Citra hops, and age the beer on both French and American oak, resulting in a beer that opens up with a warming burst of tropical fruit flavors, adding subtle Sauvignon Blanc notes before rounding slowly to a dry, oaky finish. This is a perfect beer for sharing with friends and family as we gather together for the fall and winter holidays. Pairs well with aged cheeses or seasonal squash and pumpkin dishes.

750 ml Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with big white head. Caramel, citrus, wheat aromas. Oak, grainy, citrus, and dry white wine flavors. I really like this beer. Some barleywines have such a powerful flavor that it can be a little difficult to drink. This wheat wine is pretty refreshing and pretty easy to drink for a higher alcohol barlywine-type beer.

Somewhere between a saison and hefe and barley wine. Yum, light nodied and crushable. Lots of citrus, fruit, spice, and big sweetness. Awesome label too

Bottle at home. Has a cloudy light amber color with a compact, off-white head. Fruity aroma with tropical fruits, spices, citrus, pale malt and hay. The flavor mirrors the aroma, is sweet with additional tones of alcohol, honey and fruit in the background. Has a full body, slick mouth feel and a light bitterness. A rich and fruity BW.

Clear, medium golden body with a white, long-lived head that laces the glass well. Quite strong aroma that to my surprise is very Belgian. In addition there are fruits, spices and light hops. The flavour is strong, and has the same Belgian yeasty feel as the aroma. Also spices, sweet fruits, strawberries and peach, and banana in the back. Medium body, dry texture, moderate carbonation. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Reds Alehouse. Orange and clear appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma of bready malts, citrus and tropical fruits, oak, light vanilla and light toffee/caramel. Similar flavor. Medium to full body with a fluffy, creamy mouth feel and soft carbonation. Pretty tasty overall.

Saison meets champagne, nice beer for a cool summer eve. Would buy again but not soon. Lemon, fall spices, orange, heavy carbonation

Pours a bright golden copper colour with a thin off white head that dies instantly. The aroma is rich and zesty with light tart hop aromas, lemon zest, orange rind and slightly spicy hops. Toasted wheat malts, biscuity and caramel malts up front with light sweetness. Tart, a bit musty and dry on the finish with moderate bitterness. Light alcohol presence on the finish. Very complex.

Poured from a 750cc bottle. Huge yellow head leaving lots of lacing. Clear amber with lots of particulate. Nose is bread, banana, citrus, cloves, grass, and oak. Flavour is bread, caramel, tropical fruit, spices, barnyard, and notes of orange peel. Effervescent carbonation with medium body. Very nice wheat wine.

Bomber - pours a big fluffy head with a darker golden haziness and plenty of carbonation - almost effervescent. Aroma is similar to a hefeweizen full of tropical fruits. A mouthfeel is soft and bready. Obviously a big wheat flavor presence is dominant, however complementary to banana, papaya and breadfruit flavors. Upfront is bread then fruit then a spice then hop and then a long finish of crisp blonde ale.
