3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 02-04-2012. (Corked and caged bottle, Batch Number/2011-2, Best By Date: 04-2012) When poured, this beer’s appearance is a medium sized frothy, very fizzy beige head that mostly diminishes, hazy reddish brown body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, yeast. sweet, bananas, spicy, clove, and cinnamon. The flavor is sweet, caramel malt, spicy, cinnamon, and coriander. The mouthfeel of this beer is tingly carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is a very quaffable beer and the various flavors come together very well. This beer has a cinnamon aftertaste and this beer is worth trying.

Hard to rate considering bottle was 3.5 years old. It actually stands up pretty well. Molasses was subtle, and very little oxidation occurred from what I could tell. Nice brew.

Aroma: Dark fruit, caramel, hints of spices
Appearance: Dark brown with a reddish tint. Nice fine white head.
Taste: Dark fruit, slight sweetness
