COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This re-release of our 2011 Collaborations Series No. 2 White IPA brings back the unique marriage of a classic Belgian wittier to an American IPA. We enjoyed the experience so much the first time around that we happily pressed Control+C (Command+C for Mac), and Reboot was born. Version 2.0 has upgraded its spicy aroma, with hints of bubblegum and clove. Bold flavors will launch upon uncorking, as sage and lemongrass balance the tangy, zesty wheat malt profile. Rather than merely blending a wittier with an IPA, Reboot harmonizes distinctly fruity Belgian yeast overtones with big, fruity American hop notes by creating an herbal bridge between these two somewhat contradictory flavors. The beer’s complexity os supported by a spritzy effervescence, finishing dry, with lingering hop notes.

@ Whitey’s Wine and Liquor / Lawrenceburg IN --- Nearly clear medium amber with a solid 2" head that takes a long time to drop to a head cover, swirls and dots of lace. Wheat and malt open things, adding citrus and coriander in the palate before moving with graceful smoothness to a clearly hopped finish. An unexpected success, matching disparate flavors and styles to create a new, appealing Belgian IPA. Recommended.

On the back of the bottle, it says "best by June 2014." I ended up pouring this into a Boulevard tulip because that is what the back of the bottle recommended. The appearance was a nice hazy yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dies at a nice pace and ends up leaving a decent amount of spiderweb lacing. The smell has a gracious amount of Belgian spices and lends a touch of clove into a somewhat tightly packed light citrusy sweetness of a tangy yet zesty and somewhat grassy lemongrass and sage of sorts. The taste is zesty, tangy, has a decent sour to tart background in it and still maintains a nice spiciness to it. There is a nice lemon and somewhat citrus aftertaste that ends up leading to a decent somewhat dry finish. On the palate, it sits fairly light and has a decent sessionable quality to it. The carbonation is there as an AIPA or witbier, but also maintains a decent smoothness about it. Overall, AIPA or witbier, its labeled as an IPA on here, to me, I see qualities of both and for the most part, this is a very good beer. One I would have again - most definitely! Boulevard, please keep sending your beers to Alaska. Thank you.

Bottled, batch RB13254-2, best by 06-2014. Dark tangerine in color with a fluffy white head. Quite a few suspended particulates floating around within. Woody oak nose atop oranges, white pepper, dried wheat, coriander, rose petals. Belgian white characteristics battle the citrusy fresh IPA notes and are evenly matched - the flavor is pillowy soft malts up front with orange rind bitters, followed up by yeasty esters, spicy coriander and soft leathers. Bitterness grows a tad during the finish, turning grapefruity. A relaxing IPA? A punchy Belgian white? It’s both. Well done.

On tap at battleship. Pours a a clear light golden color with a white head. Aroma is full of yeast, cloves, coriander and some citrus. Flavor is the same. A little bit less yeasty and clovey than the aroma would make you believe. Leaves a nicely balanced yeasty hefe finish. A nice earthiness to this one.

Beautiful bright clear golden pour with small ring of white head. Bright and spicy white ipa character. Light thai basil, lemongrass, white pepper. Wonderful spicy hop flavor, but not overly bitter. One of the best White IPA’s i’ve ever had.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy golden pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of grass, spice, grainy notes into a bit of biscuit, bready notes with some nice grape, pear, peach notes, slight wheat notes with a hint of orange, grapefruit in there. Taste is a mix of grapefruit, orange, hints of peach, pear, wheat, hints of biscuit, bread, slight earth finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.
