3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at battleship. Pours a a clear light golden color with a white head. Aroma is full of yeast, cloves, coriander and some citrus. Flavor is the same. A little bit less yeasty and clovey than the aroma would make you believe. Leaves a nicely balanced yeasty hefe finish. A nice earthiness to this one.

Beautiful bright clear golden pour with small ring of white head. Bright and spicy white ipa character. Light thai basil, lemongrass, white pepper. Wonderful spicy hop flavor, but not overly bitter. One of the best White IPA’s i’ve ever had.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy golden pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of grass, spice, grainy notes into a bit of biscuit, bready notes with some nice grape, pear, peach notes, slight wheat notes with a hint of orange, grapefruit in there. Taste is a mix of grapefruit, orange, hints of peach, pear, wheat, hints of biscuit, bread, slight earth finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.

One of my favorites. Boulevard’s Smokestack Series rarely disappoints. Nice size head, kind of fluffy after it settles. Leaves a healthy lace. Nose is a bit spicy, although not very hop heavy. Pours a cloudy, dull golden color. Taste is just so perfect. Subtle notes that make for a good IPA, along with a bit of spice. It’s all very balanced. Doesn’t sit heavy on your tongue

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Soft orangish straw, thick, hazy, moderate foamy white head, nice lacing.   A little citrusy nose, soft hop.   A little spicy too.   Great body right off the bat.   Thick and chewy, smooth, citrusy, hoppy, and spicy.   Nice balance, easy drinking.   Hoppy exit, with lingering citrus peel and spices.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with lemongrass, grains of paradise, soft hop, some citrus peel and pith.   Pretty good "White IPA".

P: Fairly clear vivacious pale golden body with a massive cap of dense meringue head. Retention is great and crumbles to a rocky crown leaving thick chunky lacing.
S: Spice forward with coriander, cinnamon, star anise, clove, bubble gum, belgian yeast and follows up with earthy hop oil dipped in citrus.
T/M: Lots of tangy wheat, coriander, lemongrass, clove, herbs and dirty earthy hops. Creamy medium body with faint carbonation. Semi-dry finish with lingering orange rind.
O: A nice balanced brew with earthiness, citrus and spices. I could drink this all day long. The yeast strain is delicate and not cloying which helps with the drinkability. I enjoyed the collaboration 2 so I had to grab this. Cheers!
