3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Battleship. A deep golden brew. Complex malty / hoppy flavors, with some classic pilsener breadiness. Smooth and drinkable. Quite nice.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle shared by young Kenny boy. It pours hazypale gold with a thick white head. The nose is earthy, soft, sweet, hay, sugary and dough. The taste is sweetish, earth, hay, dough, alcohol, toast, light citrus and cardboard with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not much to it. Hot and pretty sweet. Not for me.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
13.12.2013, 0,75l bottle sampled @ VANØ Bergen Christmas gathering:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, light malts, hay, weeds, grain, hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet and harsh, light malts, harsh hay, weeds, alcohol, wet grain, hints of cardboard. Longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Not my kind of beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle split at CBC thanks to Kenny, 05/12/13.
Hazed golden with a good sized frothy white head.
Nose is light soap, bitter citric notes, straw, bready malt, orange, light cereal notes.
Taste is a little more subdued and comprises bread dough, cereal, light citric notes, honey.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light floral notes in the finale with grassy bitterness.
Ok stuff, nothing I’d look to seek out again but perfectly drinkable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle cheers to Ken. Not much to say here. Looks good and smells not too bad, or at least what an Imp Pils should smell like. Taste is just a bit boring - biscuit, crystal malts, bit of lime. Very dry on the finish. Just ok

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasting in Missouri Thanksgiving ’13.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Aroma is malty and a bit floral. Pretty sweet flavor, low bitterness, but finishes crisply to keep it from going too sweet.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow with two fingers of dense, lasting, pearly white head with small islands of lace. Nose of hay, grass honey. Sweet, too sweet for my palate. Lots of honey and hay, less grass taste. Not much bitterness, assertive carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle pours a clear pale straw color without much head. Mild hop flavors balance well against the maltiness. Great imperial pilsner.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Clear yellow golden body with a white head. Quite mild aroma of grain and a bit spicy. Flavor is quite pils’ish but a bit more malt and grassy hops. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. A big pilsner with a certain balance and not overdone in any way. Decent.

Nice and pilsnery-crisp up front with a bit more body than I anticipated. Quite enjoyable!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Small white head which settles quickly. Slightly hazy golden body. Aroma is quite sharp, malt dominated. Bitter at first, metallic aftertaste. Dry. I had high expectations for this one, so I guess I?m a little disappointed.
