4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml of Batch #68025 (set aside since 2010 if I recall) poured into a chalice as suggested on the bottle. Was at room temp and chilled for an hour. Deep ruby red and a lasting tan colored head. Aroma of plums, red grapes, Merlot, a little bit of alcohol. Taste is just as good as the aroma with a little yeast in there as well. Ridiculously smooth and full body. Just enough carbonation to be there. A nice warming from the alcohol.
I don’t think I could find a better domestic quad. This is it.

This was damn good. As is the case so often with this super massively strong beers though, the first few sips are the best, before the heavy alcohol and sweetness starts to get to ya
