COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Sehr gutes Saison. Fruchtig, hefig, belgisch.. In der Nase Alkohol, Banane, Karamell. Im Geschmack sehr süß, leichte Säure. Auch hier eine recht starke Alkoholnote zu spüren. Wärmend. Insgesamt ein sehr leckeres Bier.

Kolor herbaciany, miedziany, klarowny. Piana pot??na, g?sta, drobno p?cherzykowa, bardzo trwa?a, pozostawia na szkle zdobienia. Aromat: troch? wsi, mnóstwo cytrusów, ?ywicy, nuty kwiatowe, ?wie?o i rze?ko. Smak: piwo jest lekko kwa?ne i jednocze?nie nieco s?odkie, do?? tre?ciwe, owoce cytrusowe, lekka ?ywica i bardzo delikatne akcenty wiejskie. Goryczka nieska, owocowa. Wysycenie wysokie, alkohol idealnie schowany.

Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickety. Here at Boulevard we have fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

355 ml bottle, served in tulip glass. Poured cloudy amber with a nice frothy two finger white head. Wonderful aromas of grapefruit, mango, caramel, orange peels, bubblegum, flowers. Taste is pretty much a continuation of the aromas with additional notes of hoppy dry bitterness, funk, banana, citrus peels, white raisins, vanilla, spices. The alcohol is very well hidden. Medium body with a long spicy, dry bittersweet finish. Got to admit that the taste was a bit disapointing after the great aroma though. Somehow that dry bitterness in the finish doesn’t go well with the spiciness for me.

Pours cloudy gold with a medium white fluffy head. Aroma is yeast, funk, citrus and earthy. Taste is light tart with a touch of sweetness. Light bodied, smooth and just fantastic all around. Good carbonation, lively throughout.

Very good beer. It was called Typhoon beer in Shanghai, China, during a typhoon in 2014

Good one. Pale yellow with a creamy white head and lively carbonation. Nice balance in the fruit flavors and resinous bitter hops. It has a full flavor and still the alcohol is well hidden. Maybe a bit too rich for a saison but tasty none the less. Very Belgian with American hop caracter. I like it.
