COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

The aroma is malty and funky. The appearance is golden. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall interesting.

355 ml bottle from Beer Gonzo, England. Pours a yellow hazy color, white head on top. Aroma is spicy, yeasty with some lemon and pepper. Taste is very nice and refreshing, with spices, yeast, lemon, orange, pepper, maybe some bread or dough. Light body with medium carbonation.

Bottle at Ten Green Bottles, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Pours a clear golden colour with a thick white head. Aromatic aroma of grapefruit, lemon, slight orange, straw, pepper and spicy hops. Taste of straw, grapefruit, orange, some lemon, peppery yeast and spicy hops. Medium bodied but a fizzy carbonation. A dry, citrusy and peppery bitterness in the finish. Wow! What a saison, such an aromatic aroma followed by a citrusy, peppery flavour. Gorgeous.

Unclear medium orange. Creamy white head. Yeast forward. Spicy. Not too fruity. Mild bitter. Alcohol subdued. Nourishing farmhouse ale.

12oz bottle, 4-pack bb01/2016. Slightly soapy citrus dankness in aroma meets a heavyset spicy pollen, white pepper, quince - no fusels whatsoever. Same quince bitters in taste against a fulfilling, near-chewy pale malt base. Excellent dryness taking on the layered flavours of the malts and alcohol-powered esters (Marillengeist, jam, blossom honey), well muffled by those orange and quince rind Amarillo bitters. High drinkability for such a high octane beer. - Very much a classic US-hopped cover version of Dupont Avec les Bons Voeux, itself classified here as "super saison", whereas the original drawing on Dupont’s actual farmyard yeast is an Abbey Tripel... - #saison tripel

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with full foamy head. Aromas of bananas and sweetened lemons. Flavors of creamy ripe bananas with a bit of vanilla and tropical fruit with a light spicy finish. Smooth and tasty with just the right amount of yeastiness. Great stuff

That is a solid American style Farmhouse Ale ...or whatever that means. Big hops boost it with a very hoppy character similar a bit to Double IPA. There are esters and a typical alcohol and acidity to Belgian yeast. Good carbonation, which is quite strange for a US beer and a big head. Refreshing and easy to drink. Good stuff.

12 oz bottle from 4 pack. Golden in color with typical soft Belgian texture. Slight notes of sweetness balanced with hops and malt. Very smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Absolut nett in der Trinkbarkeit, dabei recht fluffig, aber auch leicht getreidig. Daneben noch schön im Hopfen, leichte Fruchtigkeit und ein bittermilder Abschluss. Voll ok.
