COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Authentic belgium tasting beer. Lacks punch but finishes smooth and has a nice aroma.

Citrus spice nose but understated. Taste follows suit. Could be amazing but mine was a bit dull. Finish is really smooth.

750 ml bottle. Golden and hazy, and with floaties. Very tall white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Spicy orangey funky yeast nose. Soap. Light in the nose, but really complex. High carbonation level. Refreshing flavours. Spritzy and malty, but body is light given the alcohol content. Quite a bit of bitterness towards the finish. Some residual sweetness, but it is a dangerously drinkable saison. Very nice.

@basunen: En len och frisk saison som inte är för torr. Tydlig vetetoner, krydda och frukt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Some pineapple and sour plum notes in aroma. Flavor is peppery (yeast-driven) with some pineapple and grapefruit. The medium-lean body and higher carbonation lend a refreshing quality. A hot note surfaces before the slightly dry finish.

Hazy gold with big, foamy, fine-bubbled white head, good legs / Bright, delicate nose of banana, clove, spice, citrus, and straw / Medium to full body, lively carbonation, still fat, sweet and malty, with good hop balance and bitter finish / Big fruit flavors of banana, pineapple, orange peel, pear, clove, coriander, straw, and white pepper / These fat banana-clove brews aren’t my taste, but this is very well done.

Pours golden brown with a white head. Tastes of fruit, yeast, funk, earthiness, herbal (kind of like cough syrup). Not a good aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I’d put this brew right up there with the Hill Farmstead Saisons. Grassy, grainy, herbal with citrus peel, lemon and a peppery spice. Slightest bit of funk really rounds this out & a clean dry finish. Excellent.

Golden colored and cloudy, has fruity sweet notes followed by a crisp slightly hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
