COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thatís just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard itís fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2013 Bottle @ home. Poured a hazy lemon peel/gold color, with a bright white head that has been hanging around for a while now. Aroma is citrus, lemon, spice, yeasty, biscuity, doughy, grassy, and herbal. Taste is yeasty, citrus, medicinal, big clove, straw, somewhat doughy, grassy, peppery, and floral hops with a spicy bite on the finish. Begins herbal and spicy and continues through the middle, leading to a lightly bitter finish that seems to linger. High carbonation and amazing lacing. Very refreshing and the alcohol is hidden well. Very well constructed beer and easily one of the most accessible saisons around.

Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a large white stable head. Aroma has lemons, yeast, and a touch of funk. Other sweet fruits as well. Taste has lots of flavor with lemon, spices, yeast, orange, and other flavors. Very well balanced with it being slightly on the sweet side. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish is hoppy and spicy with nutmeg and pepper. Very good.

Pours a hazy gold color with half the glass being foam. Looks interesting and a lot of lacing left in the glass. That aroma is floral and like pine needles. Flavor is a bit tart but followed with a malty fullness. Clean finish. Nice and refreshing.
