COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Had on-tap at Palmer Place. Poured into a tulip glass. A: Pours a wonderful cloudy gold color with a nice 1 finger off-white head leaving a great smooth lace. S: Floral hops with a nice yeasty backbone. Fruits are prevalent at the back but there is some searching there. T: Nice wheat upfront with a sweet apple middle. A mild tartness follows with a nice dry, bitter hop finish. M: very crisp and light bodied. Incredibly smooth leaving a great dry finish with a slight bitterness on the back end. O: This was my first saison and I was very impressed. The different flavor profiles all compliment each other nicely and leaves you wanting a little more to replenish the dry finish.
