From bottler his beer pours a hazy golden yellow with a robust, but not long lasting white head. Lacing is apparent. The nose is a floral yeast fragrance with hints of citrus. The taste is citrus and spice with some notes of sweetness fading to a peppery/spicy pleasant aftertaste. It has s a crisp, dry, effervescent light body mouthfeel. Extremely refreshing on a hot afternoon in the shade. Would buy agin.

Had to really wrestle with the cork on this one to get it to pop. This has a nice straw aroma, with some very faint hop notes present. Pours a clear light yellow, with a huge white head. This is an interesting beer, there are grapefruit notes present, but without the standard bitterness. Thereís a touch of fruit esters from the yeast, and a nice earthiness thatís present throughout. This is a solid Saison from an American brewery. If youíre a fan of the style, and are willing to try something a little different, I would recommend this one.

I have NEVER met a beer I couldnít drink until now. This liquid garbage smells and tastes like moonshine poured into beer. 1 sip and I had to order something else. Best thing I can say is maybe it was a bad batch. Still, Iíll never try this again and now Iím wary of the next trial. THIS STUFF IS POISON!! IíM NOT KIDDING!!

Very spicy smell - lemony and yeasty as well. HUUUGE head that dissipates slowly and leaves a ton of lacing. Golden at the bottom. Medium-bodied - flavor doesnít hit quickly, but when it does, there is big hit of bitterness/pepperiness and malt, along with sharp citrus. Hoppier than I was expecting (grapefruit Amarillo hops). 8% ABV is noticeable. Super dry on the finish!

750 ml corked and caged bottle, thanks Brenn79. Best by 11-2011. Aroma is floral, peppery, banana, dust, citrus. Pours slightly hazy golden with quite a bit of sediment floating around under a large pillowy off-white head; leaves decorative lacework. Taste is lightly sweet, faintly tart, a bit spicy, a tinge meaty and finishes with a slightly bitter hop flavor. Nice yeasty flavor. Carbonation is average and the body is thin. This seems like a really basic, yet tasty saison. Itís not spectacular, but it gets the job done. I wonder if itíd been better had I drank it before the Best By date. Doh!

Small bottle. Big head on hazy gold with some sediment. First fast of the rising foam is stupendous. One of the best US Saisons. Delicate vanilla, chamomile and spice. One of the smoothest commercially repRoductive Saiaons I have tasted.

750 shared with 3 guys at a St. Pattyís day party in Newton MA. This was a great farmhouse ale from a brewery that I had never heard of. I am very thankful for these guys to be kind enough to pour me a cup of this unique beer. There were all the bread dough, spice, and slight hops flavors of a farmhouse ale. The body was heavier that others that I have tried. This was like a slightly maltier Hennepin. The funk was very prevalent as it warmed up a bit. The aroma was of musty basement and that great Belgian-only funk. I canít wait to try some more from this brewery.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale straw gold with a large white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, orange, lemon, and mild spice. The flavor is similar with the spicy yeast being a bit more prevalent than in the nose. Effervescent and crisp on the palate. Very enjoyable Saison.
