From the tap, a tasty brew to quaff if there ever was one. Single Wide is really good, great hops, great citrus flavors, good finish to it. Tank 7 goes the extra mile. Had a glass full and it tasted like God brewed the stuff. Boulevard gets an A+ for Tank 7.

bottle pours cloudy yellow orange with big fluffy white head. Rich, complex aroma, with some lemon funk, sourdough, body is medium and carbonated to a tingly effect, slightly creamy, smooth with 8% masked. Lightly spiced in a subtly bitter way, thyme, some bleu cheese in the finish. Nicely done.

Pours a orange tine of yellow with a one finger head. Nose is typical saison with a kick more of citrus and yeast. Taste of fruit and yeast. A very drinkable beer and one of the better Saisons I have had.

12 oz bottle. A stronger hoppy, spicy saison here with a nice effervescent pour. Starch white bubbles in the head, a creamy retention, very opaque and deep-orange straw in color. A well balanced array of notes in nose. Mixed herbal spices, straw grass hops and fruit cocktail stand out with mild estery fruits , with mild grapefruit and other citruses coming on as well. Also, mildly yeasty Belgian cookie malts. The palate is fairly full bodied with light booze, a prickly spice texture, and a high bitterness. Lots of fruits up front with herbal notes as well. Again, Belgian cookies and more fruity esters. Finish is pretty strong with grapefruit citrus and spice. This was really quite enjoyable. Good stuff.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours a hazy deep yellow with a billowing white head that settles down to just a thin layer. A bit of spotty lacing on the sides of my tulip. Nose brings some grassy, herbal notes as well as a bit of American hops. Slightly earthy and a bit of grain as well. The taste is fairly smooth with hops and the grassy character competing against one another just a bit. Mouthfeel is nice with a fairly dry finish. Drinks pretty well, but Iím a much bigger fan of the Saison - Brett.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2011 Tap. Lovely. Wonderful unfiltered wheat flavor. Plenty of fruit notes with hops. Much better than expected. Slight alcohol flavor. Very full palate.
Bottle. Same flavors, but the beer overall is less aromatic, and the fruit notes that I originally really liked didnít seem to exist. This beer is not smoothed over by some sweet talking caramel malt. Itís bold, and very American, lose. It keeps its character together. Great beer.

On tap at the Fallen Rock. A huge head, yellow body. Pleasant aromas and a nice bitterness. Served a bit cold, on a freezing night. Belgian yeast, the beverage seems more to me as a Belgian IPA.
