COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Bottle 750ml. Light yellow hazy color. Carbonation good. Whitehead. Medium. Aroma of apricot, strawberries and flowers from those rapeseed fields. Taste is stingy hops, alcohol and straw. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: fruity esters. Pale yellow with moderate haze. Excessive head, but marvelous lacing. Full bodied. Sweet and slightly acidic with a lingering bitter finish. Wonderfully complex, just misses with the "geyser" head. ~m --RaucusBacchus

This beer is always stocked in my fridge. While not my favorite saison in terms of flavor and style, it is a solid beer at an exceptional value. Boulevard really delivers a great beer at a surprising price point with Tank 7.

Pours light golden, finger+ white creamy head nice lacing, cloudy with floating particles. Aroma is brett character, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, pepper lemon. Taste pepper spicy, tropical fruits, lemon, sweet malt, less brett than on the nose, but still there. Mouthful is medium body, lots of carbonation, peppery bite, dry finish. Overall excellent beer, complex, hits on all aspects of a classic example of the style.

On tap, pours a cloudy orange/golden. Usually not a big fan of Saisons but this was an exception. Smooth dispite the 8.5 abv, spicey, fruity, nice hop, medium body, soft carbonation.
