COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Hazy, golden orange pour with buoyant yeast friendlies. Big pillowy white head. Malt, doughy yeast on the nose. Spiciness up front. Citrus. Grass. Medium bodied, nice carbonation with baby bitter finish. Good brew.

This didn’t have to do too good to be my top beer from Missouri, but it went far beyond that. Excellent muted clean malt behind some mighty tasty yeast flavors. Head is soapy with a head that lasted on a minute. Got some chill haze. There are some serious flaws here that should be worked out because this is a pretty damn good beer that could be great.

Hazy golden pour with a huge foamy head, some lacing. Citrus, coriander, and sweet bread in the nose. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Fullbodied and long aftertaste of a spicy cake.

More hops than I expected, but a very good beer. It got better as it warmed up and more of the subtle belgian flavored emerged. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, a favorite of mine. Great golden color and sweet aroma. Smooth for an 8.5. Bready with a little caramel and apple. Great mouth feel with a little bitterness at the finish.

On tap at Gather in Denver. Pours cloudy and golden. Spicy aroma. Doughy. Yeasty. Smooth character on the front end. Very wet and full. Bitter and spicy. As it warms I get hints of sour apples and a bit of funk.
