COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Bottle shared at RBAG Summer Session 2012. Hazy muddy yellow pour with a white head. aroma is spicy yeast and some good citrus hop notes. Flavor is spicy, citrusy and pretty clean. Mouthfeel is a bit watery and there were some interesting odd flavors in there. Good beer.

Bottle from GBBF, 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is hay, spice, freshly baked farmhouse bread, tangerine and pineapple. The taste is pine, zesty orange, tangerine, grapefruit, spice, hay, straw and underlying alcohol warmth, with a dry, citric finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Balance is spot on. Drinks very well.

Straw yellow, white fluffy head, great lacing. Aroma of lemon, funk, hops, grass. Taste is lemon, yeast, bubblegum, some funk. Really smooth drinking. Not my style but this was awesome.

Bottle - Wonderful perfume aroma, along with hay and cereal. Cloudy yellow with a small fizzy head quickly dissipating. Taste of yeast, lemon, ginger with quite a bit of sourness and bitterness throughout. Very refreshing and pleasant.

Really enjoy this one. Beautiful pour with pleasant and fresh fruit aroma, very crisp and flavorful mouthfeel, and dry finish with almost a peppery flavor. I buy this one frequently. Fantastic

Draft at butcher and the boar. Nice Saison aroma. Mostly clear gold. White head with nice lace. Really awesome Saison. Has a spice in the finish, stronger hop than usual for the style as well as stronger in alcohol. Awesome.

On tap at Local Option in Chicago, IL. Poured a nice, slightly hazy gold with fluffy head. Smelled strongly of spices, and went down exceptionally smooth given the alcohol content. I definitely did not taste the alcohol in it.

Bottled@chriso. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, fruity and mild caramelly. Flavour is fruity, floral, nectary and quite nice maltyness to it. Nicely balanced. Refreshing.

Bottle, shared at RBAG Summer Session 2012. A large frothy white head sits atop a hazy pale yellow body. Some lacing. Aroma is nice rustic yeast, straw, clean cereal. But this yeast is really outstanding! Medium bodied, creamy smooth with fine carbo, and lots of yeast, pepper, and hay.Rustic and comfortable. I would never peg this at 8%-- I could drink this all summer!
