COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2013 This is my favorite saison. Huge grapefruit, tropical, citrus. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Very fresh, but also so noble.

Hazy yellow golden pour with clingy bleached white head. Initial citrus-grapefruit explosion of Amarillo hops gives way to well balanced vanilla caramel malty flavor with just a bit of alcohol bite and warmth. Finishes with a touch of hops bitters, but never overwhelms the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A great farmhouse. Pours a boring cloudy yellow, but smells fantastic, green apples and tropical fruit. Same goes for the taste, extremely refreshing. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle-Amazing aroma of grass, earthy, hay. Light straw gold color. Very sharp, effervescent start and a smooth finish with a slight alcohol warmth and sweetness.

Tank 7 makes a great Ale in the teapots tradition. Beautiful, thick head. Hoppy taste. Just enough bitter to make it rock. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
