COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thatís just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard itís fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - original dates hidden by Finnish importer, 20130406) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sourness, mild cowhouse aromas and some spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, sourness, cow house, spices, sweetness, hops and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity, hoppy and bitter. A good hoppy saison.

Bottle from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, grass, floral hops, earthy notes, a bit of grapefruit and yeast. Nice mellow body. Dry bitter finish with citrus and grass. Very nice saison, but I was expecting more based on the reviews and comparing to actual belgian saisons.

Golden color with a white head. Aroma is a hint of vinegar, lemons, spices. Flavor is sour but not overwhelming with some citrus, herbal notes, an a bit of funk. Aftertase is spicy. This is fanfome level stuff. Overall excellent.

Huge bottle (0,75 liters), bought at a Vinmonopol in Oslo in november 2012.

The initial aroma (just after popping the cork) was so good I literally applauded. (The applause might also be a side effect of being excited by having just listened to the Game of Thrones theme song.)

Wonderfully fruity-hoppy aroma, with the Belgian yeast elements one would expect (something like artificial banana flavor, and bubblegum). Golden, almost pilsner-like color. Nice head. Lots of sediment floating around even though I think Iíve been quite careful when handling the bottle. The flavors do follow the aroma. Hops, some fruits. I find it quite hard to describe, actually. The alcohol is surprisingly noticable. The mouthfeel is medium to light, Iíd say, so in that regard itís quite easy to drink. The carbonation is fairly high, yet still quite soft on the tongue. Iím not sure if I like the alcohol taste that much though. Tastewise, I find it well balanced. Neither sweet nor bitter or sour, but a bit astringent from the alcohol. After a while it mellowed out though. Nice beer, but not as overwhelming as I had anticipated.

So subtle but so delicious. Pours a golden color with a tinge of cloudiness and a big white head. The aroma is mildly vegetal with some barnyard funk and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is mild but the refreshing crisp finish makes this a gulpable beer. The glass is empty way too quickly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at saraveza farmhouse ale fest - medium frothy head. Strong funky yeasty and spruce nose. Taste of Spruce and nutmeg with dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
