COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Pours a hazy hay color with plentiful white head. Aroma is piney grapefruit citrus with a hint of blueberry. I also get some coriander as well. Taste has more of the grapefruit flavor but not as much bitterness as one would expect. Their is an initial bite that leaves the pleasant but slightly bitter citrus bouncing around the palate as the carbonation fizzles out. The alcohol content is masked very well by the citrusy carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden color. Taste bittersweet, hop, yeast, herbs. Strong and dry in your mouth. At first I liked this beer more, but taste gets a bit harsh and unpleasant after a while.

330ml bottle served in a tulip glass. Pours a clear yellow color forming a big and soapy white head. Good retention and some lacings. Nose is sweet and fruity. Strong notes of honey, pale malts, peach, grapefruit, lemon zest. Spicy, notes of clove and vanilla. Bready yeasts. Taste follows the nose, a sweet beer with strong notes of honey, pale malts, peach, grapefruit, zest. Clove and vanilla. Good hops bitterness. Very citrus hops profile. Traditional Duvel yeast. Full body. Average carbonation. Spicy, citrus and bready aftertaste. Sweet and persistent. Good drinkabilty. Great Saison Ale.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow to golden with a medium white head and an aroma of fresh fruits (grapefruit, citrus, banana, peach), spices (clove, vanilla, coreander), sweet malts and yeast. The taste is medium sweet with a medium body and high carbonation. Very nice!

adasko (1705) - Poznan, POLAND - JUN 5, 2016
Bright golden color, nice frothy white head. Aroma is typical for saison - a bit funky, but flawery and fruity. Not much hops in the aroma. Notes mostly from yeasts. Same thing in the taste. Very typical, classic saison. Solid, quite good but heavy in the body. Not super drinkable, rather not very session beer. Can feel the alcohol, not in the taste but in the feeling- warming troath and stomach quite quickly.

Bottle 0,33. Fancy label! Aroma citrus and even more floral. Taste is bittersweet, fresh. Give you the impression in taste its a lighter kind of beer but still 8,5%
