COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Bottle shared by Rob at the Pig in Boca. Thanks! Small snifter pour was yellow-gold with a nice fluffy one finger head. Aroma was biscuit, barnyard, wet straw, funk, fruit (apricot or lychee). Taste was awesome with funky wild yeasts, hay/straw, slight fruity esters, horse blanket. Light, clean, carbonated, funky finish. Damn good and look forward to another one of these.

Tap @ Cold Crush. Golden with thin head and good lacing. Citrus and bubble gum. Sweet and floral with a bitter cut.

Appearance is clear golden with a huge white frothy foam cap. Aroma is spicy and peppery yeast, with earthy and herbal hop character. Taste is sweet bready, biscuity malt with some pepper notes and crisp hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium with a high carbonation. Finished very dry with a stickiness on the tongue and a lingering bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden with lots of sediment, and dat dere huge rocky head. Nose is Belgian yeast, fruit esters, banana, a bit of floral hops, herbal. Taste is fruity, yeast is somewhat muted for a saison, a herbal hop presence, peppercorn, a bit funky on the finish. I can taste/ feel a bit of the high ABV, was hoping for more carb pretty low on the saison scale. It's good, hennepin is better. Missing some yeast and barnyard character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Nie. An opaque straw gold with a giant fluffy head and a really nice spicy lemon saison aroma I dig. Very smooth with a medium-full mouthfeel. The taste is bready, spices, a bit of farmhouse funk and lemon. My kind of saison - solid.

Insanely good saison. Grapefruit and citrusy spiciness dominate this beer. Nice dry finish. Delicious.

750ml bottle pours a golden color with a lot of frothy head. Easy going saison. A little peppery. Medium sweetness.

Bottle from Target in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is spicy yeasts, potpourri, grass, hay, dried pears. Taste is flowers, rinds, dried spices and all things potpourri. Definitely on the lower end of this style for me.

12 oz bottle. Pours a bit hazy and golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma was some malts, belgian yeast, and citrus fruit. Taste was citrus fruits, straw, grass, belgian yeast, and maybe a bit of sweet fruits mixed in. Was rather refreshing, but not my favorite as far as taste and style are concerned.
