COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Straw colored very clear pour. Thick sustaining white head. Citrusy hop and Belgian yeast aroma. I get a lot of clove and banana. Very light mouthfeel. Hops are more noticeable up front but finish is more yeast. ---Rated via iPhone

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a two finger, white head and fine sediments. Aroma has big notes of bubble gum, citrus, candy sugar, and tropical fruits. Taste is balanced. Non sweet candy sugar, citrus, bubble gum, tropical fruits, slight pine and resin, and a drawn out, mildly bitter ending. Medium body with a medium-high carbonation. Slightly syrupy/resiny mouth feel with a dry finish. Overall a nice saison. Classic flavours with some American hop notes to mix it up.

Deceptive. Doesn’t taste like an 8.5% beer. On tap at the Purecraft Bar. Birmingham. UK!

Aroma is complex malty Saison, big bubblegum. Appearance is yellow orange hazy with decent frothy off white head, looks like a Saison. Taste is sweet malt bubblegum forward, followed by a surprisingly pronounced hop bitterness, some peach, citrus and peppery hop aroma. I think there is some extra complexities here, but the hop bitterness is blinding them. Palate is medium, hint of alcohol.... bubblegum malt lingers. Overall a pretty nice beer, but too much hop bitterness. Bitterness is blinding flavors that I think would otherwise be huge and unique. Still a fun beer and we got it at an excellent price. Worth a try.

0.355 l bottle from FIRMA BIER, bottled on 10/1/2015. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Fruity-floral aroma of orange, peach, pear, mango, vanilla and fresh grass. Slightly bitter, floral-fruity taste of fresh grass, citrus and grapefruit, accompanied by hints of pear, mango and peach. Medium long, medium bitter finish with some grapefruit and a bit of yeast. Medium body, effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Hoppy stuff, not really a classic saison and not really what I expected. Apart from that, very delicious and quite drinkable.

Bottle 355ml, a yellow beer with huge head and good retention and lace work. Nose is quite sharp on lemon and old grapefruit. Aroma is medium malty to low, lemon and green lemon notes, sugar, astringent background, peppery, green herb, floral, bit mono-dimensional too much grapefruit there.

Pours a golden from a bottle, thick white head to be expected from the style. Nose of banana/kiwi, flavor of delicious yeastiness, the same banana/kiwi flavor, a little orange/citrus. Somewhat oily mouthfeel. Great beer.
