COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

One of my favorite regulars. Pours with thick creamy head, nice lacing, nose of spiced Orange sweet rolls, with alcohol. Taste citrus, spice, bananna esters, grassy hops with a nice malt/slight acid finish to chew on. Nice carbonation. Well balanced for this style. Not overly spiced like a lot of other saisons I’ve tried. Arguably, the best mistake that boulevard has made

En god Ale. Tjockt fint skum som ligger kvar ganska länge.

Empfehlung!

Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale hits the style perfectly. Hazy orange pour with a fluffy white head. Moderate funky aroma but nothing outstanding. Taste is funky and fruity and very refreshing. Tank 7 is a good standard farmhouse perfect to enjoy with food or whatever.

Bottle from Beer52. Hazy deep gold, middling fizz, middling white head. Fruity aroma. Yeasty on first taste, then sherbet, white pepper, minerals, a little plasticy soap note and strawberry bubblegum. Strawberry yoghurt too. Definite fake strawberry, Foam banana sweets, then more yeast and white pepper. Mild bitterness at first, but mainly sweet with a dryish finish. Grew on me, in fact rather enjoyed it by the end, but still felt it’s over-rated on here.
