COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thatís just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard itís fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Pours a straw-yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeast, bread, floral, faint spice and/or funk. I was really looking for a little more funk but didn't find it. Taste is sweet, yeast, banana, bread and floral. Finishes mostly dry and lingers a bit. It also had slightly more carbonation than I expected. Overall, it's a tasty brew and certainly one to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ENG: 12fl. oz. bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Yellow to light orange, opalescent (or hazy) color with big, white head and a lot of lacing. Looks great. Aromas of horse stud, cloves, bananas, citrusy background. Tastes very rich, deep yeasty - clovy, funky, citrusy with some champagne booziness. Clovy aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation, medium body. Overall very funky and rich Belgian-styled brew!

Średnie do wysokiego nasycenie, średnie odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując bardzo dzikie i bogate piwo w belgijskim stylu!

Bottle. Cloudy golden yellow pour with a thick, foamy white head. Lots of citrus zest, some floral notes, tropical fruits, yeast, coriander and other spices - slightly tart, full-bodied, complex and enticing. Warming - high ABV is very evident - and a nice carbonation. Everything a strong saison should be.

On tap. Pours golden yellow with a big, foamy white head. Aroma is of spice, wheat, banana, and malt. Taste is very spicy, with a lot of wheat and bready malt. A lot of banana as well. The whole thing has an underlying peppery character. Lingering pepper taste. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Body is medium and heavily carbonated. Drinks easy. Not bad.

Pours hazy light orange with a nice white head. Head retention is great. AROMA: Orange, funk, citrus, hop floral notes, slight bitterness, herbs, light peppercorn, white wine and slight tart. TASTE: Orange, tart, funk, caramel, citrus, herbs, hop oils, malt, light spice, slight bread, faint alcohol and hop bitterness. AFTER TASTE: Orange, peppercorn, hop bitterness, tart, slight funk and malt with a oily yet crisp finnish. BOTTLE: Best by date 07-2013, Batch # 712293, todayís date 05/21/2015. I re-corked it. Thinking of doing a side-by-side with a fresher bottle. itís a great balanced brew with many great aromas/flavors but I would like to compare it with a younger batch. Will review this brew again soon.
