COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thatís just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard itís fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2014 355 ml bottle, pours opaque yellow with ha large beige foamy head. Aroma of banana, orange and lemon peels. Taste is similar to the aroma, but also with a hint of spices and herbs. Well carbonated, medium body and somewhat bitter. Not a hint of alcohol even though this beer is 8.5% ABV. A very pleasant saison.

Clear blond to yellow beer, creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of citrus, grapefruit, fruity, bit sweet, some caramel, nice stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium body, smooth texture. Taste: lots of citrus first, spicy touch, bit herbal, grassy bitterness. Aftertaste: some sweet malts, pretty bitter, citrus, grassy, sweet peaches, bit yeasty, sugary touch, nice bitter hoppy ending.

Bottle BBE: 12.2015. Lightly chilled. Pours a clear golden amber body with a mountainous, frothy off-white head. Peppery aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat, banana, lemon and coriander. A medium ripe fruit sweetness with a hint of tartness and medium bitterness to finish. Medium-light bodied with a scratchy texture, medium-high carbonation and a long, lingering finish. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable saison with an accent on spice, primarily white pepper.

Tap. Cereal, tropical fruit, lemon, some banana. Taste is pepper, grains, hops, fruity esters, alcohol. Ok farmhouse ale, a bit too much US hops...

Draught at ACBE. Wow this one is probably my favorite of the event. Nice bouquet of floral/apricot/peach hoppy flavors with some funky spiciness, lively carbonation, dry clean finish. Top-notch stuff, quite complex and enjoyable.

Bottle. Gold with rocky white head. Yeasty aroma with a little banana and some citrus hops. Light body with spicy pepperiness and a bit of funk. Lots of orangey hops and a nice dry finish. Best beer Iíve bought in Croydon for a long time.

Mooi om deze bij de Mitra aan te treffen! Troebele goudgele saison met mooie witte kraag. Heerlijke fruitige, romige saison. Lekker bittertje in de afdronk.

Bottle from Coppers Newcastle. Pours a hazy amber-gold with a foamy white head. Lovely fresh, yeasty and herby aroma, spicy and sharp on the tongue, with grapefruit poking our from behind the herbs and yeast. One of the best saisons Iíve had, refreshing and tasty.

355ml bottle Appearance: Deep gold with a big white head that lasts long, leaving a decent amount of lacing. Aroma: apricot, citrus hops, peach, floral notes, pale malt, light funky Saison yeast Taste: light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Some fruity tones, some good hops a light funkyness and some spicey yeast tones in the bitter hoppy finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Good Saison and I like Moorgat comming with this, instead of another IPA.

A hazy, yellow beer with a big, clouding and blond head. Aroma has flowers, fruitness of apples and perries, lemon, spices and sourness. Great. Taste is fruitfull, sourness, hint of peppery alcohol. A long lasting, hoppy and spicy end. Medium bodied, strong carbonation, maybe the body with a quite strong alcohol-% turn this to slightly too heavy. Complex and aromatic saison.

Bottle, cloudy light amber, big head fades. I can smell the hops in this, piney citrus, but also some cloves malt and kombucha. Flavor is big and malty, with hops. Is this a DIPA?! Finish is dry and spicy, palate fairly rich, carbonation bright. This is pretty good! Is it a saison?
