COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Mmm. Good beer. Had to give it a high appearance mark on the head alone. ..frothy and long-lasting. Nice light-golden color. Strong grapefruit aroma, tastes fruity and floral, doesn’t taste like a 8% abv.

Straw color with a tall off-white head. Hop/citric/spice aroma that is nice to decipher. Where are the scent contributed from? The malt, hops, yeast? Nice lace. Light sweet marshmallow start. Mild spicy hops follows with light citric bite. Linger has a bit of a bite with both bitterness and touch of acid. I’m certain this would slake the thirst of the thrashers (and keep them happy). 1/11

Tap. Brass gold color. Medium leave head. Mostly a typical ale nose, with a hint if funk lurking underneath. In the mouth, struck by banana initially, then sine residual sweetness. Some middle hops, yields to the sweet banana in the finish. Perhaps a suggestion of mint deep into the aftertaste? Bit residual alcohol not my thing.Still pretty enjoyable

Incredible aroma full of citrus and malt. Slight note of alcohol as it opens up. Very spot on with what I hope for when I pour a saison. It pours a deeper color than most saisons - amber/gold. Full thick white head that lasts. You immediately notice the alcohol up front in the taste. Very toasty finish with more citrus. A clean bitter ending. Not enough wheat / farm for me. A little too hoppy. Effervescent with an assertive feeling in the mouth. Medium to full body. A very solid saison, but too much hops for me. A bit too bitter.

Draught at The Purity Bar & Kitchen, Birmingham. Hazy gold with white head. Light, fresh, quite zesty saison, there is a green leafy character to the hop, hints of grapefruit. Just a touch of wet cardboard from over energetic carbonation but otherwise it’s fine.

Draft @ Sheraton OKC. Slightly musty aroma. Clear dark golden color with white head, dissipates quickly. Flavor reminiscent of saison, slightly musty, clean. Med bodied. Overall, very easy drinking, very enjoyable.

Pours golden yellow, generous fluffy white head. Nose is crisp, slightly citric, wild yeast. Taste is hop-forward, lemon, bitter, followed by some white bread and yeast. Palate starts bitter, but smoothes out with some sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 355ml. Hazy yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Great view in the glass. Aroma of citrus peels, dry hops, fruits. The taste is full: the IPA bitterness is present but not full force. I can taste fruits, malts, etc. The alcohol warmness in the aftertaste is the most noticeable thing to mention.
