Deep orange pour with lively carbonation and moderate cream color head. Fruity aromas of banana and raisin with some bready malt notes and hints of spice. A bit more sweet malt in the taste with some fruit and clove undertones. Nicely carbonated with a somewhat dry finish. Slight alcohol warmth on the back end. Pretty nice beer overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a large tan head that sticks around as long as there’s beer in the glass. Cloudy cherry red body with lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. No aroma perse. Boozy flavors. Somewhat cherry like. Thin body. Interesting but I think once will be enough.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle. Pour is a murky orangish brown with well over a finger of light beige head. Big aromas of fig and plum with raisins and carmelized sugar, sweet toffee. Some citrusy pineapple notes as well. Taste is big with plum and citrus, lots of yeasty spiciness. Some sweet caramel and banana as it opens up along with some hints of cherry and allspice. This has one of the best noses in a Belgian ale that I've experienced. Alcohol very present but not overwhelming. Glad I picked this up.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Highly carbonated for a quad ale. Not very traditional, but excellent overall. High alcohol content - and I think they are being pretty conservative with the 10.5 rating - it hits fast.

A clear amber pour with two fingers of frothy head. Aroma is full of malt, cherries, raisin, and yeast. Flavor is moderately to heavy sweet. Long duration with slight better notes. Body is moderate and oily finish. Great quad

Bottle. Pours a light, foggy copper color with a decent white head. Thick, berry aroma with some sweet malt notes. Heavy flavor. Raisins, cherries, and some light citrus. You can definitely sense the the power. Pretty amazing brew from Boulevard.

Absolutely lovely. A big thick Belgian style beer that pours a dark brown with hints of nuttiness, caramel, plum and dark fruit.

I was exciting to try this. Smells great, looks great, but misses on the mouth feel. Too carbonated and tastes like a quad with a mouthful of cotton with the overpowering carbonation. Will stick to actual Belgian quads.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Large head on this beer. Light brown in color. Tastes of malt with a definite hop finish. Reminds me a lot of a homebrew.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20
Really high alcohol content, and that alcohol will hit you fast. I was really hoping to love this beer, but the flavor just isn’t right for me, so I’ll have to settle with just really liking it.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours dark amber brown with a thick white head. Big flavor in this quad. Rich malty flavor hits you right away, with hints of raisin throughout. A great quad with bold flavor typically only found in Belgium's quads.
