4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
The sole reason I bought this beer when i saw it is that it was ’born in’ Kansas City, just like I was. Pours a beautiful hazy blonde with a lovely coriander-orange-lavender nose. On the tongue, delicate feathers of malt hit the palate with a nice balance between the malt, sour, spice, and floral components. I’m glad i saved this one for autumn; the ’double’ strength of this beer pushes it firmly from summer into autumn. A beautiful beer, i hope to get to have it in the future.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance is light golden, cloudy, with a thick white foam cap. Aroma is an amazing combination of citrus, coriander, and grass, with clove yeast phenols and a slight lactic funk. Taste is multi-layered starting with a rich malt sweetness, giving way to citrus flavors of lemon and grapefruit. There’s a slight hint of coriander and clove, and it finishes with a moderate lactic acidity and tartness that perfectly balances the malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is might to moderate with a bit of creaminess and a moderate carbonation. Finishes fairly dry with a nice acidic tartness that balances the malt. A lot going on here, and a great beer

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Full disclosure: I’m nuts about the Smokestack Series and a pretty big fan of Boulevard in general. That said, I never labelled Two Jokers as a beer I absolutely wanted to try. Don’t know why, it just never intrigued me. That was then. As of now, I vow to have this beer again. Two Jokers is something special. The smell is impossibly good. Perhaps the best-smelling beer I’ve ever encountered, including some of the incredible tropical aromas I’ve inhaled from my favorite Double IPA’s. Two Jokers smells like someone combined Belgian yeast, an Indian spice cabinet, fresh lavender, and orange juice. Just... it’s insanely good. I’m struggling to describe how awesome it is. Flavor is phenomenal, too. Sweet, juicy orange, light tartness, lemon, savory spices, and mild funk. Beautiful beer, too. Lovely pale yellow and even more lovely head. Basically, jokes on me for not wanting to try this. Yes, I did just make a terrible pun. Not even sorry.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
A- Strong spices, cloves, coriander, pepper, lavender, orange peel, citrus, wheat.
A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Lots of spices, cloves, coriander, caradmom, lavender, pepper, orange, lemon, citrus, wheat,
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish.
O- Belgian Wits were my original favorites in craft beer when I started, then I gradually got more into Stouts and Porters. Well I am here to say this beer just reconfirmed why my love for Belgian Whites will never fade. A ton of spice and nice orange flavors make this beer the best thing I have drank in some time. Split a bomber with a friend and was prepared to take his life to get the rest back. Okay, maybe not that aggressive, but when faced with my friendship or this beer, the decision would be tough. If you don’t get the picture from that you won’t appreciate how great this is. I need more. That’s all I can say about that.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pretty clear amber with a thick, though effervescent, eggshell head. Coriander leads the tempting aroma, with sweet fruit, citrus, malty, and subtle hoppy notes as backup singers. Bold flavor charges fruity, coriander, citrus and malty tones over the palate, while hops and cloves peep through. Texture is firm and smooth, though not too fizzy. No joke(rs) - this brew will make you smile!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Leary’s in Amesbury. Poured into a snifter. A hazy light golden-amber brew with a fluffy white head that settles to a thick lace. Tart bread-citrus-fruit-spice aromas and flavors. Rather smooth drinking but qite funky. Some yeasty dryness on the finish. OK, but leaves me wanting something more.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: Big foamy head that fades out quickly and leaves a small ring and mild lacing. The body is hazy and orange.
Aroma: Coriander and a touch of alcohol. Clean scent overall though; very crisp.
Taste: Tart cherry flavor, light coriander, a touch of bitterness at the end, once more followed by tartness. Alcohol is very present throughout the experience.
Palate: Tart, effervescent, quite a bit of bitterness.
Overall: It felt a bit too tart and bitter, and for 8% ABV it was barking like a much bigger dog. It was still a pretty enjoyable beer. It’s not really something I would buy again but it is worth drinking when looking for a Wit with a little more kick.
