COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Of wheat beers not the best I’ve had. However is one of the most refreshing. As the label reads... The extra yeast right before packaging for further maturation comes as an after taste but trust me you’ll taste it. Cheers!

Tap flight at Flying Saucer San Antonio. Listed on the menu as "Boulevard Wheat". I tried to determine if this is 80 Acre but infant say conclusively so my rating goes here until I learn anything to change it. Hazy straw cored pour, white ring head. Aroma is light lemon-wheat. Taste is fruit cereal with fruit yeast, enough hops to balance it out, and wheat grain flavor. Lots going on in a small, exceptionally balanced, and beautifully crafted beer.

Bottle from the Marriot Courtyard sundry shop; Cloudy ochre colour, foamy short lasting head. Aroma is spicy and sweet, slight banana flavour with a mild funk and spice aftertaste.

Draft. Pours cloudy yellow color with booming white head. The nose has faint lemon, grain and some yeast. The flavor is what I would call slammable. Light, smooth grains, hints of the lemon citrus. Really good for those hot days. And probaly a top notch wheat ale in my opinion, but the sytle still hampers the overall score.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Clean and wheaty and drinkable. Lighter notes of citrus and faint spicy notes. Good stuff.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom in Rome GA. Pint poured from tap. Pour is a light cloudy yellow color. Smells very wheaty. Good tangy and light flavor. Starts smooth and moves to a tart feel on the end. After taste stays a bit sour. A good wheat beer. Would definitely drink again.

Poured a cloudy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is banana, clove, citrus, and grass. Taste is orange, lemon, honey, banana, and a quick, slightly sweet finish.
