COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Cloudy appearance. Nice body, good carbonation. Yeast is present but not overwhelming. American hops in the middle and finish are assertive but balanced. Bitterness is low and appropriate. Well executed American wheat beer, very sessionable and approachable.

Nice light and effervescent wheat beer. Pale golden with thin soapy head, else an easy drinker, perfect for a warm day.

On tap poured into a shaker. The aromas are very light, mostly lemon and wheat. The color of the beer is a heavily hazy yellowish brown color with a whitehead and a cloudy retention with a medium thick ring. It leaves behind a very light lace. Itís a medium light sweetness with a very light bitter touch. The body is thin and watery with a likewise light body and a light, soft carbonation. It goes down easily with a dry lemon and spice finish. The aftertaste is light and low with a lemon muffin and toast quality to it.

Straw yellow pour, supremely cloudy and 1-2" of white head. Very soft scent of wheaty yeast, very small amount of citrus, aroma of waxy crayons sort of. Lively carbonation with a watery clean finish. Taste has sweet grainy macro lager tinge with somewhat plain wheat profile. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this a few times in OKC. It was the only craft beer at the Shawnee casino. It was just alright, definitely not one of the top wheats I've had. Kind of like the light American wheat style, too thin, nothing from the yeast.
