COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

12oz into a pint, pours a hazy and clouded yellow. Head rises and falls fast, but shows lacing and bubbles everywhere. Aroma is murky citrus, faint banana, grass, hops, and malted wheat. Taste is fizzy and lemondae like, wheat grass bounces around, the hop presence turns a few corners to nowhere, and the murkyness and sediment keeps one guessing as to whats really going down. Quite drinkable for a wheat, of which never gets me excited in beer, but I was expecting more from boulevard. not a good mix pack.

Cloudy straw pour with white head. Absent lace. Aroma is grainy, citrus, and sweet wheat malt. Taste mirrors. Not a huge flavor bomb but super drinkable and pleasant. Thin, crisp. Easy drinkiní.

Iím not crazy about wheat beers, but this an excellent one. I have had it all over Oklahoma and Missouri and it was great every time. Nice sweet aroma, and citrus taste. Very drinkable, like drink a six pack in one sitting drinkable. I think this is the perfect example of the style and I would drink it over pretty much any wheat beer.

Bottle (12 oz). Sligthly hazy yellow with a small quickly disappearing white head and no lacing. Aroma of wheat, citrus, herbal notes and light peppery presence. Taste is mild with wheat, citrus (lemony) and herbal notes. Light body. Watery. Really mild. Not very tasty. At least, itís easily drinkable.

Bottle. Pours cloudy light gold. Strange malt aroma with notes of yeast, wheat and citrus. Overly sweet flavor with notes of wheat, citrus and light grassy hops. Very drinkable but fairly bland.

I had this at Global Brew. Hazy pale yellow with white head, with light floral taste. I thought this was pretty good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from clownoisseur best by 10/23/13 poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy pale golden with medium bright white head. Aroma is soft grain, light body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is soft wheat with hint of bitter hops in the finish. Nothing special.

Bottled. A very light orange-yellow pour with a thick white head. The aroma is mainly yeast. The taste is classic wheat beer, with mild yeast notes. The finish is a smooth yeast.
