Not bad for a wheat beer. Has a sweeter taste than other wheat beers sampled.

I like pouring this. "Unfiltered" means floaters! Head dissipates quickly. Subtle yeasty-citrusy aroma. I have this from bottle as often as from tap, but am rating a brew from the bottle. Taste is suprisingly smooth, just a little sparkle on the tongue. I usually have this one in the local establishments when there isn’t a fabulous alternative, as it’s on tap everywhere in KC. Not my favorite, but a good standard for me!

Another boring-as-hell "American Wheat". Light golden color. Not much nose, no banana, no yeasts, just a tiny bit of citrus (probably from the *sigh* lemon slice). Flavor is largely absent, slight citrus with some nuttiness at the end, but nothing much at all. Would be refreshing on a hot day but, then again, so would be many things.

A good, easy drinking wheat beer. Sweet with a taste reminiscent of honey. The lack of filtering in such a light-colored beer makes it interesting to look at.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2003 Extremely citrusy and light. The unfiltered concept was a novelty around Kansas City, AKA the land of workin' class folk and BMC. I first rated this an 18 which is crazy. Better on draft.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2003 Draught: A little on the light side, but overall a good wheat beer. Recently had the bottled version. Still good, but unspectacular.

I found this to be a good wheat beer. It really is sweet, but it a good example of American wheat. Worth trying.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2005 Very good wheat beer. I love the Boulevard family of beers, and this one is no exception. It is pleasantly, but not strongly toasty. I tend to like a bit more roasted flavor, but this is good. Has a bit of citrus/sweetness in it. Re-Rate: I think they’ve changed the recipe of this one. Not nearly as good as I remember it, in fact is a bit thin, watery, and dissapointing. How could Boulevard do this to me? On a side note, I have about 1000 Boulevard caps in a Boulevard carton. I wonder If I can use those as influence to encourage Boulevard to return to quality of recent years...
