Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Pint pour from bottle. Hazed candy yellow with white head that dissipates. Nose is citrus and light wheat/malt notes. Flavor is wheaty and citrus, fairly clean and not terrible but not fantastic.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a pint glass, hard to believe I’ve never rated this. Pale, cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with visible sediment and fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon, orange peel, wheat malts, coriander and light hop spice. Similar flavor, citrus, herbal and bready with light malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Light bodied, real easy quaffer right here, very sessionable. I remember drinking this frequently at bars in Iowa about 8-9 years ago when sometimes it was the only non-BMC option. So I guess a little bit of nostalgia plays into my rating.

This along with 312 are my favorite wheat beers. Had on tap at Whole Foods. Delicious taste that’s not too sweet

Bottle thanks to RussianDragon. Cloudy yellow body with an inch of white head. Wheat, grain, malty aroma. Slightly sweet. Bready with a touch of spice and a hint of banana. Too grainy but still drinkable. Average.

Thick foamy bubbly head. A beautiful golden color. Foam clings to the glass. Subtle tartness and overall soft.

Grapefruit citrus nose, cloudy yellow pout. Light citrus start, zesty yeast middle, bland mellow finish. Easy drinking, nothing complex

hint of spice to an overall mundane brew with a bit of honey for soul and some sweetness. bit of richness in the body. also hint of hop. it is the type of brew you want sometimes. some vibrancy in the carbonation.

Pours hazy straw-orange with a thick beige head, excellent retention, very fine lacing. Aromas of biscuit, citrus, grass, banana, spice. Light body, smooth and velvety. Mildly sweet, just a touch of citrus, into a light bitter finish. Very drinkable and nice.

Lemony sour, light body, highly-carbonated. Some hops and a bit of malt to counter the sourness, but not balanced at all. Not bad, but not good either.

Pours a cloudy, sunny gold with a thick, foamy eggshell head that settles slowly and leaves some soapy lace. Nose involves soft bready dough, orange and lemon citrus notes, maybe a dash of sulphur. Lightly sweet, a touch tart, somewhat bitter. Light bodied yet full feeling, a bit oily, soft carb, with a brief yeasty doughy finish. Not a bad brew, half-way between a Belgian wit and an American style summer wheat beer.
