Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Bottle poured into a wiezen glass. It was a cloudy yellow with a large white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma and taste is a little fruity. Very easy to drink.

12oz bottle from a mix 12pack. Poured an ugly cloudy nectar gold body under a foamy big bright white fluffy head. Aroma/flavor is blah. Notes of waxy vanilla candle, vanilla bread, grapes, wet wheat and some grains. Meh.....

12 oz. bottle from Dutch’s and consumed at home. Pours a hazy light golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, yeast, orange and lemon citrus, a very mild spice, finish is on the watery side, I didn’t get anything really bad with this but it is thin and bland.

Best by date of 12.26.13. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a weizen glass on 12.24.13. A: Very light yellow. Slight orange tint at the top with the yeast cloud. The heads recedes into nothing very quickly. S: Slight banana. T: Wheat. There is no flavor that is prominent. M: Crisp and very watery. Too watery. O: This beer was just very boring. It was at least drinkable.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a medium sized fluffy white head. Aroma was light wheat, grains, sweet crisp lemon zest. Flavor was light lemon, wheat notes. Some light bitterness. A touch refreshing, but lacking something a bit in the finish.

Pint pour from bottle. Hazed candy yellow with white head that dissipates. Nose is citrus and light wheat/malt notes. Flavor is wheaty and citrus, fairly clean and not terrible but not fantastic.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a pint glass, hard to believe I’ve never rated this. Pale, cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with visible sediment and fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon, orange peel, wheat malts, coriander and light hop spice. Similar flavor, citrus, herbal and bready with light malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Light bodied, real easy quaffer right here, very sessionable. I remember drinking this frequently at bars in Iowa about 8-9 years ago when sometimes it was the only non-BMC option. So I guess a little bit of nostalgia plays into my rating.

This along with 312 are my favorite wheat beers. Had on tap at Whole Foods. Delicious taste that’s not too sweet
