Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Total Wine, Fairfax 12oz: Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, sort of light a cider, hints of citrus. Taste is fruity, lemony, and such at first and then finishes off with that nice little wheaty bite. Well balanced through and through. Quite tasty.

Six-pack from Crown Liquor, Indianapolis. Pours a hazy orange/gold body with an inch of white head that recedes quickly to a rim of froth. Spotty lacing. Delightful aroma of lemon, grass, and creamy wheat. Flavors of citrus, soapy yeast, orange peel, and buttery mouthfeel. Aftertaste of tangerine. Lively carbonation and light body. Not too complex, but very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Look: pours a golden yellow color with no head. Thin to no lacing. Definitely unfiltered cloudiness. Smell: malty smell. Lemons and oranges. Taste: heavy on the malts. Definite wheat flavor. Slight lemon zest flavor. Bitterness comes from the lemon flavor but doesn't feel like hops. Feel: heavy carbonation. Not as gritty as it looks. Does not leave a film on the mouth. Overall: good summer beer. Not as tropical fruit as I like but still good. First drank: home 5/27/14

Cloudy appearance. Nice body, good carbonation. Yeast is present but not overwhelming. American hops in the middle and finish are assertive but balanced. Bitterness is low and appropriate. Well executed American wheat beer, very sessionable and approachable.

ARH (749) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2014
On tap poured into a shaker. The aromas are very light, mostly lemon and wheat. The color of the beer is a heavily hazy yellowish brown color with a whitehead and a cloudy retention with a medium thick ring. It leaves behind a very light lace. It’s a medium light sweetness with a very light bitter touch. The body is thin and watery with a likewise light body and a light, soft carbonation. It goes down easily with a dry lemon and spice finish. The aftertaste is light and low with a lemon muffin and toast quality to it.
