Not a great wheat beer, but much better than your typical brews. Cloudy yellow color and white head.

Beautiful golden pour with average white creamy head. Excellent lacing. Bottle conditioned. Aroma of bread, straw and cereal, some cookie, perfume and citrus. Hint of corn. Nice flavor. Light to medium body somewhat oily and soft. Enjoyable with lemon or orange. An excellent example of its style.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy, pale yellow body, with a tiny head. Hardly a lace. Mild citrus and bread aroma, and those appear in the flavor, as well. Good carbonation for this style. Iím not a big fan of wheat beers, but Iíll definitely buy this one again. Refreshing and very drinkable.

I know this one has had some lower scores, but I have to disagree. This is a crisp, refreshing, inexpensive micro that tastes best in the summer. It is usually served with a slice of lemon to help bring out the citrius flavor which I donít care for, but it is all around a decent brew! One of my summer favs, although Iím not crazy about the srew off cap...

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A cloudy wheat color with a decent head but for some reason it does not look that inviting. Not much aroma or taste. Fairly standard to style.

This would probably go down better if it wasnít freezing outside since itís a typical warm weather brew. I like the look, a hazy pale straw body with a large creamy white head, all making it appear like a Beligian Wit. But having wheat as an ingredient is about all that they have in common. It has a light wheat grain aroma with a twist of lemon. Same with the flavor, ending on a mildly tart citic bite. Uninspired.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Characteristic cloudy appearance reveals a very refreshing beer. Light citrus undertones are apparent in a less-than-exciting, yet very drinkable wheat. Very enjoyable after a long day of work...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2006 Bottle from Friar tucks in Champaign, IL. Pours hazy goldern orange with white head. Aroma is yeasty and bready, with some faint citrus. Mouthfeel is a tad light. Flavor of wheat malt, citrus, and yeast. Clean finish. A thirst quencing, solid session wheat.

A beer I commonly drink to feel refreshed after a long day. It gives you a bite at the finish that makes you just feel good about life...there is no other way to put it. Lacking on some flavor and I usually donít attract to American Wheats but this is one beer that I wonít stop buying soon.
