Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

I stumbled on to this the other day and it was quite a suprise. Good flavor and color. Enjoy with a lemon to make it even better

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with robanion, thanks Ray!) Jeez, is this Dasani or beer? A fairly tasteless American Wheat that is only slightly more enjoyable than mass produced American beers. Only a slight wheat flavor, but mostly all I do taste is light citrus. Not a sweet beer, seemingly no hops, and very little aftertaste. Vague grainy nose lacks any significant aromatics. Light bodied and watery on the palate with sufficient carbonation. Medium straw color is only slightly hazy. Small white head rapidly dissipates to nothing. Boring, tasteless beer. Why bother?

Unfiltered? What? Pours like a Kristalweizen, not anything unfiltered. Thin, urine yellow with a quickly diminishing head. Flavor is straw, weak hops, and a tangy something-or-another flavor. I expect more out of any beer that claims to be "unfiltered," and this did not live up to my expectations.

Bottle: a good American wheat beer. It has a smooth taste with a touch of citrus in it.

okay i drank this motha on the hottest day of my life...103 with 75% humidity down at the loop in st louis...you could have probably gave me piss as long as it was cold and i would have been happy as a clam. but i was quite surprised at any rate with this beer. your typical american wheat with all the citrusy bells and whistles you could ask for. hits you perfect when your parched.

Its a wheat beer. That is really all I have to say about this. Golden in colour, kind of cloudy thin white head. The nose is wheaty same goes for the taste. Nothing too see here people, keep moving.

My favorite beer. A superb taste that goes well with anything. I have tried a lot of wheat beers, and this is by far the best. The aroma and body leave nothing to be desired, while the unfiltered beer gives it a great appearance in a pint. It is good by itself or with a lemon. Overall, an excellent beer.

Courtesy of Beerhandy in trade. Standard hazy golden yellow with film for head. Decent yeasty banana aroma with tiny bit of spice. Initial flavor is exactly like the aroma would indicate, just dies out immediately.

Poured a hazy pale straw color with minimal white head. Aroma of bread and lemon. Flavor starts citrusy and acidic and turns malty and sweet. Lemon is the dominant flavor with some yeasty spice on the finish.

12 oz bottle. Best by 09/10/05. Hazy straw. Tons of tiny bubbles rise to a nice layer of foam. Mostly grain in the nose. It tastes fine, I guess. Really nothing to get excited about. Has a wheaty/lemony thing going on. I do prefer this beer with a lemon wedge. Soft across the tonge. Subtle bitterness. Best beer to get at Royals games.
