On tap at Des Moines Airport, CLoudy yellow, grassy wheat smell, nice white head, thin, easy to drink. Great for the style. Nothing spectacular. however it does blow the others ive tried in this style out of the water Give me a Boulevard pale ale over this anyday

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2006 Draught. Hazy yellow color with thin white head. Yeasty, citrusy wheat aromas that come out again in the flavor along with a grainy aftertaste. Easy on the palate. Very refreshing on a warm day.

Iím not typically a fan of wheat beers, but Iíll have this one any summer day. By far the best wheat Iíve tried, and Iíve had quite a few. Out of a bottle, you must swirl the last 1/3 of the beer around and then continue pouring, or you wonít get the yeast. Light in flavor, without an overpowering aftertaste which so many wheat beers leave. Very quenching, and perfect for a good thirst. If you like wheat beers, youíll love this. Most of the bad reviews appear to come from those who are for some reason looking for a dark beer.

This is a great wheat beer from the bottle or the draught. Light flavor, but complex enough to satisfy a casual drinker. Works well with pork tenderloin and holding a lemon in a glass.

Slighty hazy orange-yellow beer with a small white rim, looks like slightly carbonized applejuice for all the world. Very neutral nose, some wheat and faint acidiy (lactic and citric acid aromas). Touch chalky. Dry, hay-like taste, some dry apples flavour, ending faintly bitterish, citrussy. Rather light, refreshing beer; yeast gives little extra dimension or MF. Not very interesting wheat, but with no doubt refreshing abilities. Thanks to Beerboy for this one.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with robanion, thanks Ray!) Jeez, is this Dasani or beer? A fairly tasteless American Wheat that is only slightly more enjoyable than mass produced American beers. Only a slight wheat flavor, but mostly all I do taste is light citrus. Not a sweet beer, seemingly no hops, and very little aftertaste. Vague grainy nose lacks any significant aromatics. Light bodied and watery on the palate with sufficient carbonation. Medium straw color is only slightly hazy. Small white head rapidly dissipates to nothing. Boring, tasteless beer. Why bother?

Unfiltered? What? Pours like a Kristalweizen, not anything unfiltered. Thin, urine yellow with a quickly diminishing head. Flavor is straw, weak hops, and a tangy something-or-another flavor. I expect more out of any beer that claims to be "unfiltered," and this did not live up to my expectations.

Bottle: a good American wheat beer. It has a smooth taste with a touch of citrus in it.

okay i drank this motha on the hottest day of my life...103 with 75% humidity down at the loop in st louis...you could have probably gave me piss as long as it was cold and i would have been happy as a clam. but i was quite surprised at any rate with this beer. your typical american wheat with all the citrusy bells and whistles you could ask for. hits you perfect when your parched.
