Good summer brew. Not too sour, but not unique. The finish is clean. Had several bad experiences with this beer on tap. Dirty glasses or bad tap lines don't mix with this beer.

A cloudy wheat that is flavorful, but not unique or noteworthy in any regard. Earthy flavor with a slight hint of banana-flavored esters. A nice summer brew, but there are better beers to be had and consumed.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
aroma of citrus, grass, cream, along with typical beer scent, fresh smelling & tasting...zero skunkiness.
Remarkably smooth, pretty well carbonated and lively citrus wheat beer. Highly recommend.
The brewery is close to me & I pick up a 12 pack weekly in the summers.
Oh, unfiltered means it's tan and smoky looking.

Wonderful color, smooth citrus flavor, well maintained head and great lacing on the glass. Excellent from the tap. When in the mood for a flavorful alternative to darker beers, I inevitable reach for Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat. Inexpensive in the region. I haven't seen it outside the midwest.

Not bad for a wheat beer. Has a sweeter taste than other wheat beers sampled.

I like pouring this. "Unfiltered" means floaters! Head dissipates quickly. Subtle yeasty-citrusy aroma. I have this from bottle as often as from tap, but am rating a brew from the bottle. Taste is suprisingly smooth, just a little sparkle on the tongue. I usually have this one in the local establishments when there isnít a fabulous alternative, as itís on tap everywhere in KC. Not my favorite, but a good standard for me!

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Another boring-as-hell "American Wheat". Light golden color. Not much nose, no banana, no yeasts, just a tiny bit of citrus (probably from the *sigh* lemon slice). Flavor is largely absent, slight citrus with some nuttiness at the end, but nothing much at all. Would be refreshing on a hot day but, then again, so would be many things.
