COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

This was a refreshing beer and had a light citrus flavor to it and was very cloudy.

Pours light yellow in color with a decent thick head that lasts, yet the flavors aren't their.

This beer has degraded, the original flavor was very pleasant, however the mix must have been changed... now the flavor is average, light yellow coor, exceedingly thin.. nice cash-cow.

Just an average wheat beer, decent color, with a diminuitive head when poured. Alarmingly strange aroma when compared to other, better, wheat beers. Slightly citrus/banana crossed with milk/lime yogurt. Kind of weird, didn't like it too much. The strange qualities of the aroma did not carry over into the taste, which was quite pleasant and clean throughout. HOwever, it is a pretty decent beer to drink on a hot day and there is nothing else available.

Somewhat hazey pale/straw yellow color, thin firm head with some looser bubbles, lace in small patches. Aroma is a bit bland for a hefe, not much going on but a tempermental fizz of light citrusy lemon and some wheat with a touch of yeast. Taste is clean with a slight wheat twinge mixing with a bit of citrus, not alot of anything really, just kinda there. Finishes slightly dry and quite clean with a just a bit of yeast, but no real spice or grab is anywhere to be found. Feel is pretty average with a slow thinned out, nearly watery body with just a bit of wheaty texture just before the finish. Goes down with good ease, but lacks otherwise where it counts, taste. A slight disappointment as I like some of the other Boulevard treats like the Bully porter; hard to believe this was from the same place. Some are hit and miss I guess, this was a miss.

A cloudy, golden brew. The aroma reminds me of a wheat field (go figure). A solid wheat flavor, but not so overwhelming it ruins the experience. The slice of orange Old Chicago put in it did wonders. Not bad, and this is coming from someone who professes to despise wheat beers.

We're pretty proud of this one here in the Heartland. A very solid wheat beer that is winning lots of Bud converts. Very cloudy, chocked full of yeast. An excellent missionary ale for the unexposed mega-beer drinker. Nothing better to drink in the beer garden on a hot summer day.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2004 Mediocre. Not much to taste, smell, or otherwise appreciate. Hard to believe this is a Boulevard beer. The others are much better.

Pale golden color with a small head. Cloudy. Lemons, wheat, and malt in the aroma. Pretty smooth taste, fairly well balanced. Citrus flavor. Some bitterness but not too much. Overall not bad.
