COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

A lot of sweetness in the nose. Let it sit for just the right amount of time and you’ll get banana, caramelized sugar, and even something resembling apple strudel. This beer, of course, is meant to be drunk cold. On the tongue, there are notes of wheat, light fruits, very light hops, and cereal. Light citrus (lemon) lingers. Creamy mouthfeel, adequate carbonation. Good.

Draft at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bartlesville, OK. Cloudy golden color with white head. Aroma of wheat malt and faint fruity note. Taste adds notes of yeast, citrus and some pepperiness. Light body, moderate-low carbonation, crisp with clean finish. On the bland side but refreshing.

Probably my favorite anytime beer, of all time and always a reliable option on draft. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle gifted to me by Boulevard employees at Surly today, many . Pours a hazy lemon gold with white head that lasts as a wisp and lasts on the meniscus. Aroma is sweet lager yeast, wheat, and a slight metallic note. Flavor is wheat, biscuit, banana, slight clove. Balanced, overall muted flavor.

Pours a dirty amber, yellowish with an off white head. Aroma is citrusy and yeasty, but light. Flavor is light, like a light beer, almost too light, but good

I can't believe we have to do this for all of them. Some beers are better than expected and some are worse, but sometimes it's just what you expected and therefore the name is just enough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

What an interesting beer! Right up front, there’s some floaters, which isn’t my thing, but other than that I enjoyed it. Great head and lacing, bitter, citrus.

Bottle into a glass. Almost florescent highlighter yellow pour. Aroma is a lot of spice and white bread yeast. Taste has hints of grass and citrus, but is mostly black pepper, white bread, and other spice. Muddled and unbalanced.
