COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

You gotta judge this beer as a wheat beer and not against testosterone-releasing stouts and barleywines. It's flavors are more subtle and fruity so maybe it's politically correct for the metrosexual. This is a straw colored brew with fine carbonation and no head. The aroma is faintly citrus. The palate is dominated by a lemon overtone and subtle hops with a lingering acidity and wheat aftertaste that stalls on the palate. It goes down well when thirsty and excels as a summer brew. Probably my favorite from this brewery. The draft version is a bit less bitter and I would rate higher.

Old rating. Just okay wheat beer. Normal light citrus in soft bready body. A touch watery. It's fine.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma has some lemon and cracker notes. A little grassy. Mostly sweet and wheat taste. Light body with a crisp finish. Medium to high carbonation. Pretty easy drinking.

Wheat and malt in both taste and smell. Slightly bitter which fills the upper part of the mouth briefly. Watery beer that is not so good. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

A light, watery brew with mild aromas and flavors. Good quality ingredients and no off tastes. Unremarkable.

Bottle: Very easy drinking, lots of citrus. Nothing I’d pick out of a lineup, but nothing I’d turn down either.

Bottle. Murky yellow. Aroma is like a budweiser. Fruity wheat taste with lemon. Average carb. Decent plain. Easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured into a wiezen glass. It was a cloudy yellow with a large white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma and taste is a little fruity. Very easy to drink.
