COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Pours a hazy, light yellow, with lots of tiny bubbles and a frothy, white head. The nose is pretty muted: sweet wheat and just a hint of citrus in the background. The mouthfeel is light without being thin, lively and crisp. The flavor is lightly sweet and clean with a tight wheat crispness and a faint lemon note. While not a complex beer, it is quite refreshing, which was just what the doctor ordered after spending the day working under the sun.

Cloudy golden color. Nothing much on the nose. Thin with some citrus and grain on the mid palate. Short finish.

Definitely wheat, along with a bit of lemon citrus. Smooth, easy to drink. Good summer sessioning beer with its low ABV and drinkability, yet not lacking in flavor.

Hazy straw gold with a fluffy white head, ok lace but doesn’t last too long. Aroma is faint, plain and earthy wheaty sweet. Flavor is pretty dang light, with a faint pale sweetness and light wheaty tones. Tastes as or more watered down than Blue Moon.

Pours cloudy gold with a silky, whipped white head. Nose is wheat, yeast. Taste is the same, put together nicely, not over the top...thick with floating particulates. Very good, nice sharp tang to it....almost a honey-lemon zest happening. A smooth, easy, tasty beer.

Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head and some lacing. Aroma is orange, lemon and wheat. Taste is wheat, lemon and honey with a mild bitterness. A nice, easy drinking summer beer. Might have to get some more of these for those hot days that are coming.

Note: 4+/10

On tap at Fat Guys Burgers, Tulsa OK, served with a lemon which was promptly discarded, ice cold on a hot day would be ideal for this beer, and out of a nice glass, slamming down large quantities, this is a quick clean beer with a little lemon finish still there..
