Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Nice cloudy yellow, orange pour with a thick white head. Aroma is nice and wheaty with some of the advertised citrus. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is a bit bready, doughy and yeasty. Not as much citrus as I figured there would be from the aroma. Good wheat beer though, smooth and yeasty.

Bottle thanks to RussianDragon. Cloudy yellow body with an inch of white head. Wheat, grain, malty aroma. Slightly sweet. Bready with a touch of spice and a hint of banana. Too grainy but still drinkable. Average.

Thick foamy bubbly head. A beautiful golden color. Foam clings to the glass. Subtle tartness and overall soft.

Grapefruit citrus nose, cloudy yellow pout. Light citrus start, zesty yeast middle, bland mellow finish. Easy drinking, nothing complex

hint of spice to an overall mundane brew with a bit of honey for soul and some sweetness. bit of richness in the body. also hint of hop. it is the type of brew you want sometimes. some vibrancy in the carbonation.

Pours hazy straw-orange with a thick beige head, excellent retention, very fine lacing. Aromas of biscuit, citrus, grass, banana, spice. Light body, smooth and velvety. Mildly sweet, just a touch of citrus, into a light bitter finish. Very drinkable and nice.

Lemony sour, light body, highly-carbonated. Some hops and a bit of malt to counter the sourness, but not balanced at all. Not bad, but not good either.

Pours a cloudy, sunny gold with a thick, foamy eggshell head that settles slowly and leaves some soapy lace. Nose involves soft bready dough, orange and lemon citrus notes, maybe a dash of sulphur. Lightly sweet, a touch tart, somewhat bitter. Light bodied yet full feeling, a bit oily, soft carb, with a brief yeasty doughy finish. Not a bad brew, half-way between a Belgian wit and an American style summer wheat beer.

ale gold, foamy head with OK retention. Lively. Lightly spicy aroma, hint of floral hops. Light malt flavor, hint of citrus, mild finishing bitterness. Exceptionally clean. It all sounds bland and boring doesn’t it? And while that case could be made, a beer like this makes an excellent alternative to American Standard style lager, being that even if light on flavor it still has some, and the flavor it has is good.

12 oz bottle from variety pak. Pours hazy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head, nice lacing and lovely carbonation. Aroma is of yeast, wheat malt, spices and ripe apples. Body is medium and smooth. Wheat malt, yeast, ripe fruit and spices fill the mouth. Finish is long and spicy. Quite good for a wheat beer.

Bottle from Wegman’s Collegeville. Pours hazy orange with a tight white head that lasts about ninety seconds and leaves a film. The aroma is fairly nondescript.. it’s crisp and clean but no defining characteristics. The taste has some fruity notes, slight tartness, finishes clean and effervescent. OK
