4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 bbrock81 (274) - Le Mars, Iowa, USA - JUL 20, 2008
I’ve been on a wit kick lately, and this beer defnitely fills the bill. It is a prototypical wit, with aromas and flavors that are just what they’re supposed to be. Citrus, coriander, fairly yeasty, the only hitch is a hint of sourness that throws things off just a bit. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin, quickly dissipating head, and has a very light mouthfeel with a lot of carbonation. A good, crisp, and very refreshing summer beer.

Unfiltered yellow with a thin quickly fading head. Standard witbier aroma – orange peel, coriander and yeast. Taste follows the aromas lead with some light lemon and banana in there. A little bland and sour overall but finishes crisply.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with white fizzy head, minimal retention. Aroma has a nice citris peel smell, lemon. Flavor has orange, lemon, and corriander notes. Mouthfeel is very light, high carbonation. Overall, a very nice, tasty, refreshing, light summer beer.....not bad at all.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Syd (920) - Waconia, Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2008
Bottle pours a hazy straw color with a decent head, not much in the way of residuals. The aroma is of clove, coriander, and citrus. The flavor is really quite mild and pleasant - restrained clove and coriander, some dried banana flavor, and some fruit notes. The palate is refreshing and clean. Overall this is decent.

This beer hit me immediately as one of my all-time favorites....yes, I’m a light/wheat drinker. Great tasting beer, cloudy pour. A little citrus but not too much for a guy who almost always removes the slice of citrus from a beer served to me. I could ramble on but if you like lighter beers this is a keeper!!!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 HonkeyBra (2217) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2008
Pours a cloudy pale yellow. Aroma of yeast and citrus zest, some butter notes as well. Taste is light and sweet, citrus, spice, yeast, with a bit of bubblegum and a wheat malt finish. Overall, a good summer beer, if you’re into that sort of thing, though not my favorite beer or style by a long shot.
