Boulevards summer seasonal is our interpretation of a classic Belgian witbier. ZŌN (Flemish for sun) combines the subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel with other traditional ingredients to create a delightful, refreshing summertime brew. 2009 GABF gold medal winner in Belgian-Style Witbier category.

Stunned by the scores on this one! Just bland & blah to me. Pours a murky gold w/ a tiny white head & very little lacing. Aroma is nearly nonexistent. Taste follows suit. Summer beer I guess but still? A tiny upgrade from a blue moon!

Draught. Pours a very cloudy yellowish tan color with almost no head on it; the pour reminded me quite a bit of lemonade. Nose has some subtle citrus elements coming through over the wheatiness of the beer, though I dont get a lot of the spices the deScription suggests. Taste is light and a little sweet, but the spices do come through subtly here. Nice little summer beer.

Hazy orange straw pour some white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat, banana yeast. Tastes of yeast and orange. Wonderful slight tart lactic mouthfeel. Light carb. This is a great entry level wit. I wish Hoegarden was as good as this.

12 oz. bottle. Perfect appearance of hazy gold with a dense white head. Great yeast aromatics. Clove, banana, citrus fruits and light coriander. Very true to style flavor of orange peel, coriander, lemongrass and wheat back bone. Lightly tart finish. Dry texture with the correct amount of Co2. I went to reach for another when I realized I only had one bottle. This is a very good Wit! Would pay money for another.

The appearance of this brew is a cloudy light yellow color with a large white head that fades to a thin layer on top of the liquid. The aroma is reminiscent of oranges and wheat, and the taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, and the palate combines a thin body, slick texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.

Hazy light orange color with a generous white head that dissipates down. Smells of orange, coriander, spice, yeast. A light crisp taste of sweetness of some citrus, with some of the spice and coriander. Finishes clean and with a light cracker taste. Overall good drinker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2013 bottle to a tulip glass. Pours a nice, hazy sunrise yellow with a hint of orange and an opaque center. Head is initially a large fizzy white and subsides quickly. Thin lacing. Aroma is a dominant yeasty, bready smell with some citrus, coriander and spice. All combine for an earthy quality. Taste follows the aroma with the spices and the earthiness coming on a little stronger. Good medium mouthfeel that makes it feel more substantial, but the crispness and lack of bitterness help keep it refreshing. Per the marketing, a great summertime beer. Very good for style and taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
