UPDATED: JUN 20, 2011 bottle. Pours the exact same color as dole banana orange stawberry juice. Yellow with slight amber tinge in the middle. Small fluffy off white head at top which lingers. Pretty nice looking wheat. Aroma of banana, clove, bubblegum, citrus, wheat, light spices. Flavor delivers a refreshing crisp, full bodied, fruity body with the earthy wheat tones coming through on the finish. Wheat, honey, banana, passion fruit. Simply a great wheat.
4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 drabmuh (160) - Maryland, USA - AUG 18, 2010
I was fortunate enough to go on the Boulevard brewery tour while I was in KC recently. The tour was not very informative as far as beer tours go, but the tasting at the end was excellent and turned me onto several beers that I had not heard of.
I bought a 6 pack of this beer after the tour and took it home. I served it in a pint glass. There are a few beers that I say you can just smell forever. And people comment to me sometimes how long i smell some beers before I taste them, this was one of them. The beer was light in color and cloudy. The smell was amazing, a mixture of yeast and the sweet ether smell associated with some belgian styles. It went down smooth and had very little after taste. This beer was excellent. Wit is not my favorite style, but there was no citrus aftertaste sometime associated with some Wit beers. It was great.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow color with an average white head. Aroma of fresh yeast and spices. Very light body with a watery texture but has plenty of flavor. A nice lingering tart coriander finish. I’m not a big fan of the style but this is pretty good.

I like this one! Nicely true to style, and quite heavy on the orange peel. Well spiced in the coriander realm too! Great on a hot day!!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wxman (889) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a respectable white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is spice, banana and citrus. Refreshing slightly tart flavor of banana and clove with some citrus notes as well. Very good, but not a Hoegaarden.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (7131) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Bottle from Brewforia. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of wheat, spice, citrus. Near medium body. Foamy carbonation. Flavor is quite spicey - clove and citrus. Suspect banana. Not sure how Belgian this is - but it’s a pretty decent drink. Orange zest is more noticeable with time.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 taphandle (985) - Texas, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Hazy yellow - good head with big bubbles in the foam. Aroma mostly of citrus and spice - the citrus seems like lemon. Taste is spicy wheat with a touch of citrus in the finish - not much bitterness. A great beer for the price.

standard belgian wit style from the bottle. Not bad for $8/6 pack, certainly cheaper than Hoegaarden is here for 95% the same taste and texture.
