4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 AJofDenver (71) - Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2010
A great summer beer! The scent starts with a spicy clove and ends with a fruity like bananna slash corriandor feel. The flavor is that of a peppery like start with a sublte well balanced fruity ending.

12 ounce bottle. Pours with a nice head and the aroma immediately hits you. This is clearly a Belgian wit. Smells of Belgian yeast with hints of cloves and bananas. Very nice taste with a quirky pepper finish that is typical of Belgians. Some notes of citrus, maybe orange and lemon, but the hops are not overpowering in this beer. Boulevard makes some of my favorite beers, and this one is no exception. Feels highly carbonated, almost like I’m drinking a cider. Some malt taste in the mouth, but nothing too outrageous. Just a nice, clean, crisp summer beer. Perfect session ale.

Boulevard does know how to make some pretty good wheat beers, and this is no exception...
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 eyelovebeer (13) - USA - MAY 28, 2010
BOttle From Gomer’s In Lee’s Summit, MO. Great representation of this style, which is typical with Boulevard’s Belgian stuff. Very refreshing and light beer great for warm weather, especially with an orange garnish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 imeshuggahi (31) - golden, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2010
As with most of boulevard’s brews, this one is an excellent representation of the style printed on the label. Not many brewers do well with belgian wit ales, but these guys do. All the usuall flavors are present, corriander, orange peel, but not in excess as some others make the mistake of doing.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 KyotoLefty (3752) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 29, 2010
Bottle. Lots of banana and cloves -- spicy. Sweetish. Fruity and creamy. A little too sweet, but an okay interpretation of the style. Yeasty, rich, cereal and malt.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 darbish (115) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 4, 2010
Aroma is reminiscent of pear and orange juice and perhaps a little spicy. Beer is very cloudy and whitish, looks a lot like pineapple juice or something. Taste is very close to pineapple/orange juice, there is virtually no hop flavor so most of the flavor is from the fruitiness and a slight citric acidic, tartness. Palate is as expected, similar to a hefeweisen but a little too fizzy (as it numbs most of the flavor). I was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle courtesy of MaltOMeal: Pours a hazy bright golden with a thin, stringy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of soft and sweet pale malted wheat with some orange zest and coriander spice. Has a pretty full body for a witbier with a very drinkable light malty sweetness throughout and a good balance of lemon and orange citrus flavors before a drier, more peppery, coriander finish. True to style and refreshing.
