COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard’s summer seasonal is our interpretation of a classic Belgian witbier. ZŌN (Flemish for “sun”) combines the subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel with other traditional ingredients to create a delightful, refreshing summertime brew. 2009 GABF gold medal winner in Belgian-Style Witbier category.

What a great belgian white!! Obnoxious banana clove component, wonderfully densely foggy yellow appearance, and just a great drinkable beer

Sensuous nose - fruity, mustardy, salty, pencil shavings, some stale (unburned) cigar wrapper. A quickly-dissipating, beady white head. Pours white-yellow. Squat 12 oz bottle, good label. Bland flavor -- underbittered, not spicy, not fruity or yeasty. Such a disappointment after the aroma. Flaccid body. Some fruity redemption in the finish and aftertaste. Lazy Dog Growler.

"this was ok. i’m hoping for a little more from the boulevard.deschutes white ipa. slightly better than average wit, no more, no less. coriander, orange zest, yeast...a little too thin and bubbly."

I had this at Global Brew. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Taste coriander, citrus, lemon. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is coriander and a bit of citrus. Flavor is fairly crisp with a bit of citrus and spice. Light on the palate, fairly refreshing. Wife: 3.6

Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler - 12 oz bottle. Hazy light gold pour, no head. Light spiciness in the aroma with coriander. Flavor is refreshing with some light lemony notes, some coriander spiciness, some yeasty notes in the back end. Thick enough mouthfeel.

A really good belgium wit that’s easy drinking. Aroma is a little unimpressive with elements of banana and orange peel. The taste is much better with nice amounts of clove, banana, and citrusy notes. The finish is refreshing and not too clingy. If you like wit beers, you’ll like this one!

Bottle - fair size foamy head, hazy light yellow color, very lemon/citrusy aroma and flavor, mild yeasty spice, mild malt backbone, pretty mild wit but definitely very refreshing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

weihenweizen (1881) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Refrigerated 12 oz. brown squat bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours opaque pale golden with small white head. Aroma is effervescent citrus, medium body, medium carbonation, and some small bubble lacing. Taste is rich esters, lemon, some coriander, and hints of citrus. Like the richness in this one.
