What a great belgian white!! Obnoxious banana clove component, wonderfully densely foggy yellow appearance, and just a great drinkable beer

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown squat bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours opaque pale golden with small white head. Aroma is effervescent citrus, medium body, medium carbonation, and some small bubble lacing. Taste is rich esters, lemon, some coriander, and hints of citrus. Like the richness in this one.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma: Bubble gum at the forefront, but also some lemon and a puff of coriander; almost like a Hefeweizen with so much gum. Appearance: Cloudy yellow pour with a foamy white head that settles into a healthy white ring. Flavor: Gummy throughout with a squeeze of lemon; gum gets fairly sweet and overpowers all other impressions. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Too unbalanced to standout in the style; very one-note.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
An aptly-titled brew, considering that it is the color of sunshine. While I did find the citrus tones to be a bit heavy and the carbonation to be slightly harsh, I really dug this brew. It’s one of the more refreshing wheat ales that I’ve ever had. The sweet wheat malt is ridiculously satisfying when paired with the citrus flavor. Cool bottle, too.
