Boulevards summer seasonal is our interpretation of a classic Belgian witbier. ZŌN (Flemish for sun) combines the subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel with other traditional ingredients to create a delightful, refreshing summertime brew. 2009 GABF gold medal winner in Belgian-Style Witbier category.

Bottle at the Funky 7, in Brooklyn. Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a white head. Very pleasant character overall. Modest yeast and sweetness. Fresh. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Mild fruits in the finish with more yeast and wheat notes. Nice.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2006 Cloudy pale yellow. Light peach, marshmallow and coriander aroma. Malty, lightly spicy (coriander, mint) flavour. Marshmallowy, and pretty well-made.

Old rating (2003): Pale light saffron. Hazy. Creamy, light honey character with biscuits, sunflowers, and limited citrus. Sweet and sour towards the finish, with some citric crispiness. 6 3 7 3 13 = 3.2

Bottle from Brewforia. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of wheat, spice, citrus. Near medium body. Foamy carbonation. Flavor is quite spicey - clove and citrus. Suspect banana. Not sure how Belgian this is - but its a pretty decent drink. Orange zest is more noticeable with time.

Bottle from Beastiefan2k. Thanks Eugene! Poured a cloudy golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, light citrus and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, coriander, light yeast and light citrus with a smooth spiced yeasty finish.
