Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 8, 2009 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale colored brew with an average white head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light orange zest and coriander, a hint of white pepper and some clove. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt with wheat, a hint of coriander and some yeast. Finish is light, crisp, some light fruit and a touch of coriander that quickly disappears. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 12, 2009 Bottle... poured a beautiful, hazy, golden/yellow with a creamy, white head. Spiced esters and wheat malts on the nose. Quite sessionable with an easy drinking flavor profile. Light fruits and spiced characters. Baked-like wheat malts and an earthy touch of herbs and weed-like notes. Crash (447), Macomb, Illinois, USA Oct 7, 2009 Yet another beer that I wasn’t able to take good notes about. There is only going to be a couple more before I have the notes back - sorry. iabeerguy (158), Iowa, USA Oct 5, 2009 A golden yellow color with a white foamy head. A citrus aroma with a little bit of wheat at the end. Citrus flavor with that goes down smooth. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Sep 30, 2009 Hazy yellow with a white head. Spicy orange peel coriander aromas. light body. Nice orange zest, grainy wheat spicy flavors. Nice. scottbeas (4), Colorado, USA does not count Sep 25, 2009 Appearance: unsure about it, didn’t have a very good head. Looks a little like punch. Light and fruity aroma. Flavor has strong start and flat finish. Will not buy this again. Uninteresting, rather flavorless, very dull, flat finish. (kk) SuzyGreenberg (1318), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 17, 2009 12 oz. bottle - hazy, straw gold, thin white head; orange zest, coriander, wheat and lemons; soft texture, light bodied; crisp, lemon and wheat flavors; sweet, but doesn’t fall into fruit syrup; a decent wit randolphjj (90), Raymore, Missouri, USA Sep 14, 2009 Summertime beer is right! Picture yourself coming in after mowing the lawn. It’s 114 degrees out. You’re really thirsty. This is the one to reach for. Light, crisp. You get a nice wheat on the nose and palate, but there’s the delicate orange peel & coriander that sneaks up just a little and reminds you that there’s something else to this beer. Nicely done for summer.
