3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2013
Draught at the brewpub Hazy blond color; small creamy head. Light malt aroma and flavor; it’s also a bit buttery (diacetyl); light fruitiness and average bitterness. It’s a simple Ale with minor flaws.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Oakes (10935) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - APR 9, 2006
Hazy straw colour. The aroma is strawlike with a hint of citric hop. Light lemony/tangerine flavour with hints of fresh crunchy pale malt and light bitterness. Off-dry finish. Typical of Washington State golden ales - an actual gateway beer instead of a macro clone.

Cloudy pale yellow beer. Sweet bready pale malt, light lemon and a bit of honey. Flavour is light, but pleasant. Sweet lemon mixed with bready yeast and some honeyish sweetness. Soft spiciness in the middle of palate. Pretty tasty lighter brew.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 26, 2005
Draught at the pub in Bellingham Hazy yellow with no head and light lacing. Nose of husky malt and light citrus and acidity and hopping to match the malt sweetness, which is higher than usual in this blonde ale. The finish is dry, a bit starchy but unique; drinkable.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 riversideAK (5404) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2008
Pours light gold with no head. A little light grainy sweetness in the nose and flavor. Light hop finish is crisp. Nice first beer after a 5 mile hike.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 after4ever (5279) - Brier, Washington, USA - JUN 2, 2006
Draft at the Green Lake Bar & Grill. Bright white head that hung around for a minute, light amber/yellow highlight body. Light--very light--grass on the nose, not much else going on there. A little bit sweet on the attack, then some mild pale malt flavor, very little hop in the finish. A bit sticky and cloying for a medium-bodied, medium-carb beer. Mostly it’s a well-made, drinkable, forgettable beer. Like they tell the aspiring con man in Ocean’s Eleven--"he has to like you, then forget you right away."
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 PorterPounder (4610) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2003
Had on tap at the brewpub in Bellingham - has a cloudy, light golden appearance - not much of an aroma. Pleasant tasting and refreshing with some light hoppiness - good way to start off a sampler tray.
