On tap @ The TapHouse in Seattle. Dark chestnut colour, thin brown head. Aroma coffee crisp bars, caramel, choco syrup. Sweet and roasty, nice flavours of coffee and choco and caramel. Rich and tasty.

Draft: Poured thick black with red edges, the head was a creamy tan. Aroma was roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts and chocolate, with a smooth finish.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2010 Draft, April Brews Day. Poured black with a small dense tan head. Rich roasty aroma of vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Very strong roasty flavor along with rich chocolate. Smooth and rich tasting, with big roasty notes of coffee, chocolate, slight smoke, and vanilla. I tried this as a float with Mallard vanilla ice cream and one of the espresso brownies being offered at the Boundary Bay booth... very sublime. I wish I could replicate that experience
